The two biggest areas the scout identified that Texas needs to upgrade are playmakers on offense and the offensive line. He compared Texas’ transition to the SEC to the same as A&M’s, which was expedited during the Johnny Manziel era but then backslid to more of a slow-burn rise to playoff contention last season.

Seems like glfr told me that Texas A&M just came right on in and dominated.

Yea, I don’t buy this. From the article:

My first thought was “I’ll believe it when I see it.” Then further down, proof that the premise of that article is BS. From a Texas assistant coach:

Yep, 15+ years wandering in the wilderness, and just 3 years in the SEC you’ll be knocking Bama off the pedestal. *rolls eyes*

Another former assistant said Texas “might be the best program in America with the SEC next to their name” in the next three to five years.

Apparently this former assistant knows something about Saban's retirement plans that not even Saban knows.
