Very exciting finish! I was afraid that AC had given the game away after those two TOs and Texas' 3 pointer, but that kid was clutch with those two free throws with 1.2 seconds left. The AC player who hit the free throws is paradoxically the best 3 point shooter but worst free throw shooter on the team.
That foul against Texas at the end which led to the free throws would not have been called last night, it was a love tap compared to what the Clemson center did to RHJ.

Nice game by ACU. Those kids really scramble on defense. Looks as if the B1G doesn't have a monopoly on losing high seeds. And I believe Sorry-excuse is the only remaining ACC team.
Also Florida State. Easy to miss among the carnage of losing 5 of 7 teams in the first round.
The father of the kid who made the foul shots for ACU is Anthony Pleasant. Played 14 years in the NFL and won a Super Bowl with the Patriots.
Florida State had a tough battle with UNC Greenboro. They play Colorado next. Should be a good game. Colorado looked good in round 1.
Abilene Christian probably had more fans rooting for it last night than it's ever had in the entire history of the program. I'm happy for them but even happier to see the mighty Longhorns go down against a team it had never deigned to play before despite being located right there in the same state.

It seems like so many of these players that really came to play in the tournament had at least one parent that played college sports, if not pro sports. I'm sure their their parent(s) had some influence in how they learned composure in big moments.
