Wow , didn’t realize Abbott and DeSantis we’re liberals.
If you admit it reduces the risk of infection,why wouldn't you wear a mask? I don't get the logic here.
Wearing a mask will reduce infection enough to resume some semblance of normal life. Not wearing them leads to this stop-and-go crap. It's not hard to understand for logical-minded people. Based on your posting activity, you do not seem to be one of those.
This is just like the liberal shaming pressure placed on those Governor’s in TX and Fla by liberals. I’m sure y’all have been in those states to watch pressure from liberal media.

Liberals haven’t slowed my success one iota, in fact, I thrived in the Obama years. Thriving even more in the Trump years. The common denominator... I worked/work hard, and don’t blame others if I come up short, it’s on me.
Libs don’t take that approach. It’s always someone else’s fault. That, and a belief in God, are the two major reasons I’m a conservative.

If you actually knew me, you’d understand I’m very humble/giving. I also call out BS, and tell the truth. This is tough for some to hear, but you know where you stand with me.
The truth isn’t bragging. I’ve been blessed from God with opportunities in my life, and I took the reigns and ran my tail off to make it happen, against many odds.

Masks are not a big deal to me.
Here's the thing - are we finally at a place where we know masks help? Because there has been conflicting data for a while. We seem to have zeroed in on that they do.
And one thing we absolutely CANNOT do is start shutting down everything. Bars - okay. Limit restaurant capacity? Fantastic. But shutting down everything does two things:
1) It crushes the economy, which is the engine that lets us fight this thing
2) It keeps people cooped up inside with nothing to do. I really worry about people's mental health. Would the Floyd/BLM protests have devolved into riots if people hadn't been cooped up for so long? I don't know. But it is something to consider.
And before anyone asks, the 'armed protests' about wearing masks are stupid.
There is no reason to shut down outside recreation (parks, etc).
I'd bet they are socially liberal but fiscally more conservative than they would even admit.

Once they have their wealth it’s actually better to be a liberal elite and not earn income. So raising taxes on production/income doesn’t matter anymore. Capital gain taxes and tax free bonds are their pathway.

CDC has said wear them, then said don't wear them, meanwhile the Surgeon General has said don't wear them while the CDC said to wear them......
And I won't even get into what the WHO has recommended since they are terminally FOS.

Suicides up 50% the mentallly ill are the ones that are sacrificed by the liberal elites because they don’t vote. Old people do. Also many of the super wealthy liberals are over 50, so they are scared to come to their end. Heck @johnhugh made a joke about me being mentally ill with CTE. So yes liberals only want to save votes.
