1, Great win by UK....shows this team will be dangerous in SEC. We have weaknesses that will be exploited....but this team has some pieces and a solid staff to scheme them up.
2. Minchey was simply outstanding....14-18 for 252, 2 TD and 0 Ints. Kept operation clean all game long, no near picks or TOs. Didn't take bad sacks...got rid of ball. WR had tons of YAC with balls hitting them in strides. Threw beautiful down field passes finally. That off balance throw to Boyer on the drive we got a FG in 4th qtr to essentially seal the game was great anticipation. Heck, had a walk in TD dropped....Simply in control out there. And he's a ton better than Sam Leavitt who I'mg glad ened up at LSU....and put up better game than Boley did vs. Texas AM.
3. The Oline delivered vs. some NFL guys. Heard and Tschebola were especially moving the LOS. 156 rush yards and Baxter was 4.6 ypc and Patterson an eye opening 9.8 ypc

Sam Greene had a game....TFL on 4th down and Int....really held Texas Am from getting a big lead early and allowed UK to get a lead...which put the game on Marcel Reed (who lost the game IMO....he's a bottom 3 SEC QB). IF Texas AM goes up early....they can just run at us and put the game off Reed...that is their kryptonite is needing their QB to make so many plays...which he can't
4. Stein and Sloan really schemed up some offense.....those overload formations thwere we put 3 OL on one side of C and had Boyer as TE got us the TD early in game....and the huge big play to Boyer that resulted in the final FG that sealed the game IMO. This is the kind of coachign we need to generate some offense/points due to out smarting the defense to allow some easy opportunities.
5. Bo Barnes isnt' the greatest MLB yet....but I really like the ingenuity of staff to line him as pass rusher....and he has a burst to get to QB. I like him as change of pace rusher.
6. Patterson is a guy we need to get the ball to more...he jumps off screen so far. Same with Darby.
Texas AM...I think they had a cake walk schedule last year....i think they are a solid but not great team. Marcel Reed is bottom 3 SEC QB this year....they can't overcome him as the year wears on.
