Not A&M's fault. I don't blame them in the least. It's the crackheads that's called the NCAA selection committee that I blame.
That moment it becomes apparent there were zero good teams in the SEC this year.
I can see that and agree. Just not interested in cheering for them when they shouldn't even be there. Not to mention they completely lucked out to even beat No. Iowa. I'm not too surprised they are laying down tonight.
Just boggles my mind how bad the SEC is in basketball - makes no sense either when you consider the caliber of talent available. Watching the Villanova game and Villanova would have given us all we could handle. Talented, well-coached. Just ridiculous that these huge, rich SEC schools like Texas A&M, Florida, Bama, etc. can't put competitive teams on the floor. We've got schools in the league this year that would have struggled to compete in the OVC. Just inexcusable.

Y'all, if Cal would ever play a zone UK would wax TAMU this bad every game. They have no clue how to attack a zone. As soon as OU went to it they folded like a cheap suit.

I wouldn't care, but I think the mediocrity of the league hurts us. It hurt us last year and it hurt us this year.
Last year's incredible team simply wasn't pushed enough. You could tell they were shocked when they found themselves in a close game with Notre Dame, and it finally burned them when they played Wisconsin.

Yep. They made a couple of 4-5 point mini-runs early in the second half to make it look like they were going to make it interesting, but they have since faded badly.
The SEC as a whole should be embarrassed at this year's tournament performance; I'll even extend that to the NIT. We (SEC) remind me of the old Southwest Conference without Arkansas.
What a fitting way for the SEC to whimper out. If the sec would start recruiting shooters instead of football players who can dunk ..... Maybe the sec would of been better than garbage this year
