Texas A&M Game 1 Thread...

[57stratdawg]

Small vs Doxakis. 9 innings today.

[57stratdawg]

Westburg beamed off the leg. Lucky that wasn’t worse, because it was headed towards the foot / ankle.

[operch]

are we on sec plus

[57stratdawg]

Yes.

[operch]

not for me in southaven

[57stratdawg]

Not much else, but we made him throw 18 pitches. 0-0 Mid 1.

[blacklistedbully]

yes

[57stratdawg]

1 K...

[57stratdawg]

2 Ks....

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

I'm waiting on tomorrow's doubleheader. I give it about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs before they get rained out, but weirder things have happened.

[Ingomardawg]

Not getting the game in Tupelo

[57stratdawg]

3 Ks... 0-0 after 1

Not getting the game in Tupelo

Watching in glorious HD on my Roku in Tupelo

[Baddmann]

It's on SEC plus on ESPN app, not cable/satellite.

Watching in HD in Gulfport...

[57stratdawg]

**** 2nd inning - Foscue with a fly out to start. We can get a ball out of the park on this guy if some of our RH turn on a ball.

[57stratdawg]

Rowdy with a walk. 1 on, 1 out.

[57stratdawg]

Skelton flies out to RF. 2 down.

[57stratdawg]

Halter grounds out. 0-0 Mid 2.

Doxakis did a nice job of settling down there. Rowdy walked, and his count was already up around 30. A mound visit, and he gets Skelton and Halter on 3 pitches to help keep his pitch count manageable.

[Trojanbulldog19]

is there a really bad echo for anyone else?

[Trojanbulldog19]

small looks really good through 2.

[57stratdawg]

Not much from A&M B2. Fly out, ground out, K.

4Ks for Small after 6 outs.

[57stratdawg]

*** 3rd Inning - Gilbert starts off with a double!

[57stratdawg]

Damn - Mangum grounds out to SS. Gilbert can’t advance. Westy up

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Flash Flood Watch just issued for College Station. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for here in Austin.

We need to score here.

[57stratdawg]

Westburg Ks looking. Allen up.

[RocketDawg]

is there a really bad echo for anyone else?

No echo on television for me.

[Trojanbulldog19]

that outside strike zone looks a bit expanded there.

[57stratdawg]

Allen K’s on a ball up and off the plate. Lead off double wasted, but that wasn’t a strike.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Plate got really, really wide there. Better stay that way.

[57stratdawg]

Fly out, K. 2 down in B3.

[RocketDawg]

It's on SEC plus on ESPN app, not cable/satellite.

Watching in HD in Gulfport...

It's streaming on the ESPN app, but you still have to have cable or satellite to see it. I have Dish.

Sometimes games are inexplicably blacked out in certain areas. Maybe Southhaven is one of those this week.

[57stratdawg]

Fly out ends it. 0-0 after 3.

Small’s count showed 42 after that pitch.

[57stratdawg]

*** 4th Inning - lead off HBP for Mac. Looked like he had some words for Doxakis on his way to 1st.

He’s looked good at the plate so far today.

[anon1787432961]

Westburg with the MLB swing

[57stratdawg]

Foscue with a double! 2nd and 3rd, no outs.

[57stratdawg]

Rowdy with a sac fly. 1-0 good guys.

Foscue can’t advance.

[57stratdawg]

Skelton with another double! 2-0.

The middle of our lineup is dialed in on this guy.

[57stratdawg]

Well, Halter with a line drive out and Skelton got doubled off. I’m guessing he thought that was getting into the gap, because he was hauling ***.

Either way, 2-0 MSU mid 4.

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

Glad we got two runs. Storms cranking up here in Austin heading in that direction. We need to get to the 6th as fast as we can.

[Trojanbulldog19]

Small is definitely trying. Cutting them down quickly
