I went to my nieces Fastpitch Tournament this past weekend..... I watched 6 games... no concessions, dugouts sanitized after every game.... you couldn’t sit in bleachers, you sit in your own lawn chairs with your family...no handshake line after game... their was probably 18 teams playing on 4 fields.... i saw very few mask.... we will see how it goes.

I was at a travel baseball tournament in Southaven. They ripped the seats out of there so everyone has to bring their own chair but beyond that, it was normal, from concessions, to congregated parents, to kids hugging and wrestling with each other.

We were at Snowden too. Headed to a oxford this weekend, and i read you have to wait in your car in the parking lot until 5 minutes before the game to go in and watch, and only 2 family members per household can attend. Not sure how they police that.

Well when the state opened casinos up, they lost any credibility to keep ballfields closed.

My parents went there last weekend. They observed the same scene you did. Main difference they noticed is that the bathrooms were actually cleaned at some point and the bleachers were gone.

It's kinda been that way for a while. A lot of restaurant dining rooms are still closed but other than that, it's been pretty much back to normal.

Do catchers and umpires wear their Wuhan masks inside or outside their protective masks?

looks like people are still buying the bull since its still an issue.

I'm calling ******** on that, just like I am the rest of it. Absolute silliness.

Have a mask, it's on me. I sneezed in it when I mowed my grass, though.

Thats really horrific if you are serious and just unfunny if a joke. Either way, its lame.

I didnt realize it was the highest day until I happened to see it on google yesterday when I finally looked at what sort of 'riots' had started in our metro over the prior few days. I certainly wasnt happy about it. I was actually surprised and figured it was due to delayed testing results from the prior holiday weekend, but thats a few business days after Memorial Day, so I would think delayed results would be 1 or 2 days late.

I looked again- the 25th was the day with the highest reported deaths and the 26th had the 5th highest number of cases reported in a day.
Apologies for misremembering the data from yesterday.

Ultimately though, its clarification without a difference. The same point remains- late last week had a day with the highest number of deaths and a top 5 day of reported cases, so it is still an issue.

Or it could just be a fair observation based on your posting history. I feel good about it.

Based on my posting history, why would I be happy that covid19 is still around and affecting the population?
Really- what have I ever posted that would make you think I would be happy that a bunch of people died and more are now infected with a virus?

51% of deaths in MS have occurred in Long Term Care facilities....if we could get a handle on those, that would bring the number down...

We are playing in that tournament....and practiced there today...

actually we scrimmaged a team there today....bleachers are moved, but folks still sat in them...there will be no concession stands this weekend according to Clay Ritchie....BYOC...

To avoid cash at the entrance, teams are paying a fee as a whole for gate fees....we are paying $275 for our 9U team, but don't know if its the same for different age groups like entry fees...

while we scrimmaged another team, practice was going on most of the other fields.....there was not a single person anywhere wearing a mask (no reason too)....

sunflower seeds are prohibited, but the fields say otherwise
