I know there were people waiting to hear from Glov. I just got an email from his son in response to my email a few days ago. Unfortunately Robert passed away April 22nd.

I know I'm late to the thread but RIP Glov. The guy was a legend on these boards dating back as far as I can remember on BWI. He was a class act and never took himself too seriously which I really thought was one of his most redeeming qualities. I'll certainly miss him.

Oh my goodness. Been out of touch for a week or so traveling in Scotland. So sad to hear this awful news. We could always count on a smile or a laugh in a Glov thread. RIP Board legend! Peace be with you!

Geez, been so busy haven't been on at all lately. Always hurts when long time peeps on here and all the previous boards passes away. Great guy loved talking hockey and college hoops with him. RIP Glov, you were called home and now are at rest.

I lurked on the BWI rivals board a lot, and while I didn't always agree with GLOV, I respected the hell out of him. I pray for him and his family, and for those of you here who lost a friend. Rest in peace to a good one.
