Terrible loss for UK

It was a bad performance. Not a terrible loss. That's ridiculous. Did you think we'd win every game again? We're not as good as we thought we'd be or need to be right now, that's why there are 30 more games to get better. Calm down.

Alex was basically forbidden to play physical, and that's all he can do. Lee didn't play and he's our toughest guy inside.

That's your front court in big game money time. We'll be alright.

Terrible performance but as far as losses go this one I can take. UCLA means nothing to me. It's not like we lost to UL or someone like that. If we repeat this performance 8 or 9 more times then I'll join the meltdown but I'm not worried about this one. We had to lose one might was well be a road game without our starting center and a hurt PG.

Losing Lee for 35 minutes was the difference.

Some of you guys need to back away from the ledge and use your damn heads.
Really, we have the most critical and cynical fans in the world. It's our first real road game in a hostile environment. UCLA learned from their game with us last year We're going to learn from this.

We will have no mercy on them next year in Rupp.

Wisconsin was a terrible loss. This however wasn't. We didn't play well. Did they deserve to win tonight? You don't win games by just being a 5 star stud with Kentucky across your chest. Hopefully they'll learn from it. Doesn't feel good to lose

Lee goes out with a head injury and UCLA has 1 foul. You can say what you want, but that first half set the tone for the game. That kind of calling can affect the game as a whole. If you aren't getting calls then what's the point in driving and losing the ball? I would rather them try to find a jump shot than to keep driving and turning it over that way. That's what happened at the end of the Wisconsin game last year we had 3 shot clock violations trying to drive the ball with no calls but lots of contact.

Well UCLA did lose to Monmouth, Wake, and Kansas. UCLA could easily end up in the NIT.

So it's terrible in the sense that it could impact seeding in March.

We played terribly but losing a true road game to a major program in early December really doesn't mean anything.

If they play like that - no way in heck they end up in the NIT. We struggle early in the season on the road wjth our young teams, some people forget becuase of last year. You think Brandon's knights team would have faired any better tonight ? We would have gotten ran out of the gym. I liked some things I saw tonight , Brisco is way better than I imagined.

I didn't like this game tonight and was disappointed. But, a loss to UCLA at their place on December 3 means very little in the big picture. What we do about cleaning up our weaknesses before conference play and March is what matters.

It probably was a good loss. I hate it real bad. UCLA seemed to be able to do nothing wrong and we couldnt do much right. Sometimes games are like that. At the very end, we did seem to make some 3's which kept us from getting beat by 20, now that would have sucked

Should I jump? Maybe I would land on my damn head and help me forget this debacle! Cats played like chicks without oomph down low.

We lost by 10. Stop acting like he couldnt have made a difference Fancat.

It isn't the fact that we lost. I don't think we'd be reacting this way if it was a last second loss or we had played better. It is the fact that we never really were in the game after halftime that is troubling.

We have glaring weaknesses and play in a physical conference. It's gonna be a rougher season than I had thought.

Our guards will be Ok. Ulis still not 100% and then we have Lee out most of the game and he has been our double-double in the last 2 games. Skal is going to have to get better underneath. That is the weak spot right now. Overall, I felt with Ulis not 100% and Lee out with Head Injury, and I felt the refs were horrible tonight. That is not why we lost but it surely hurt us tonight. We have been going to line 30-40 times in last couple of games and tonight in the 1st half the refs were awful. We knew we wasn't going undefeated like last year fans and I felt with playing out there and some of the circumstances with Ulis not 100% and Lee out most of the game we would lose this one.

Duke is the only game I have enjoyed. Not much entertainment for me this year so far. Disappointing to say the least. UCLA is awful which puts us at...... Boring
You've Been Nominated; Post of 2015

I, too, think the Duke game was the most entertaining . . . this one had too many missing pieces to get worked up over. When Welsh hit his 25th stop and pop in the first half, and our first free throw coming at 1;23 mark in the first half, it had diminishing returns. Don't like to lose, but it's behind us now at least.
