Terrible late game coaching

I'm getting ready to watch this crap again. I'm pretty sure I will see lack of effort and poor shot selection as the key to the loss. Also we made 1 more shot then them and took 6 more. 3's killed us once again. It was the only difference besides getting out rebounded by 8 which should have never happened. EFFORT! I doubt I see anything different to blame on Cal.

If I'm going to complain about coaching in this game, it wouldn't be the last few minutes.

Its the art of war example - the game was lost before our players stepped on the court. They weren't mentally prepared to play a bad but close to desperate Bama team in a low energy post Xmas game.

Well, at least we don't have to wonder if you know anything about basketball. You're clearly an idiot (or more likely an emotional little person). The play was perfect. It was a great look. If you had told me that was the shot we were going to get I'd take it every time.
And you'd lose 8/10 times

I don't think they were running a "play" they had 4.3 seconds and no timeouts and they just tried to get the best shot possible and he ended up with the ball and the shot.

Dumbest. Thread. Ever.

One guy missed 4 layups and the other is a shooter.

Blame. The. Coach.

Cal just doesn't have the attention of this team. And he's never been a great in-game coach, as we've seen time and again. Today, we saw both issues pop up.

Coaching LMFAO! Sure. Explain to me how we led 15-5 in rebounding at the 8 minute mark of the first half and got out rebounded by 8 or 10. Seen 2 different box scores. EFFORT! That's why we lost.

And you'd lose 8/10 times

So we'd win about 20 percent of the time? That's probably about what the numbers would show that ANY team down 2 taking the ball the length of the court with under 5 seconds left would win. So you validated my point. It was a good look.

I mean we shot bad and got out rebounded by 8-10, seen 2 different box scores. Guessing ESPN is wrong. That site is starting to suck all round. LMFAO!

That shot by Herro reminds of the kinds of shots that Freshman Harrison missed during the regular season, then made in the tourney.

This was coaching. Alabama was a poorly coached team, and still won. What took so long for our 8 million dollar coach to figure out we should press? That should have come out in scouting. Alabama players were all basket cases trying to get the ball up the floor against pressure, and Calipari was too late to figure it out again.

Nothing wrong with the play calling. The shot just didn’t drop. It happens.

Sometimes you gotta wear the big boy pants and suck it up as a fan.

KJ is 2 for his last 8. Herro was 6 for his last 12 going into that shot.
And they are both very good players. I wish Tyler had hit that shot, but he didn't. Not the end of the world or the end of the season. Am I disappointed, yes I am. But I am not going to get on a message board and pick out a player or players and criticize them. Team game, Team loss. Flush it and go on! Looking forward to Tuesday night!
