I think he was a plant by the league to push us back down to the bottom, where were were for 35 of my 54 years as a fan.

Again, this is what happens when you hire a middle of pack SEC baseball coach “who sat in on some interviews” as AD.

Luke's team in a beat down today looked better than State so far tonight

Suppose we could have gotten Pruitt, Morris, or Luke.
Just because you don’t hire Moorhead means you would have hired one of them either but since Cohen was considering Pruitt it makes him look like he got fooled either way by whichever group he was using to find him a coach and so quickly

Cohen was Loafers and the furniture guy's anointed replacement choice. Forced him on Keenum more voraciously than what you'd see in a Bang Bros oral compilation.

Cohen apparently hated Dan so much that he wanted to prove that he could replace him in two days....Cohen is more vindictive than he is smart

This offense just doesn’t work well period

Sorry TD but it's not even that simple.

We mirror the last days of JWS when entire team philosophy is ****, end to end.

Just constant missed assignments, combined with inexcusably stupid gameplay, complete loss of composure and zero pride in their play outside of our FR QB and Hill.

If we continue to build in this fashion we will fail in the long run.

This offense may work at Harvard, Princeton, or Yale. Hell, maybe even Vandy. Our players just aren’t smart enough to grasp it.

Or it’s all a charade. I watched his video explaining it when we hired him. It sounded like if your players read the defenders correctly, it was unstoppable. I guess I got fooled by the snake oil salesman, too.

So so we sent from a coach who couldn’t win the big games and sucked at recruiting to a coach who can’t win the big games but seems to be able to recruit. But he can’t call a QB sneak. Can’t reign in the dumb penalties. Doesn’t know how to teach tackling.

Joe is not a leader. You cannot let a defense dictate what play you run on offense. You have to study defensive tendencies and run a play based off of their tendencies. Letting the other team determine what you do is a LOSER concept. You run YOUR plays and you win because you execute better than the other team.

Oh I agree with you whole heartedly. It’s much more than the offensive philosophy. For us to be supposedly building to the next step, we sure are going the wrong direction quickly.

I fully appreciate the "he's playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers" party line.

Problem is, the SEC is a checkers league. He's playing the wrong damn game.

I’m still on the JoMo train. We’re young and Gus is being an *** to avenge the butt whooping he took last year. Is what it is. Barn is a tough place to play, especially for all of our freshmens and rs freshmens. Growth opportunity. Beat Off next week and come out smarter and stronger.

ETA: and with hairier palms

The fact that you can lose 5 games with the best defense in the country is pretty damning.
