And I love it. Vescovi getting social security yet?
Not a Tenn fan, AT ALL, but I hope you realize that CJ and Oscar are both 2 years older than Vescovi, not to mention that Reeves, Toppin and Wheeler are all about a year older. Fwiw ...

Barnes obviously thought it was an NCAAT game.
Is there another coach that’s been as solid as barnes during the regular season that’s been so bad in march? He’s been to 24 or 25 ncaa tournaments and has a losing record i think…

looked it up. 25-26 in 26 tournament appearances

26 tournament appearances and not even averaging a win per appearance. That is absolutely awful.

I mean…i guess kudos for making it so consistently but…damn is it too much to ask to win more than a game every now and then?

It is even worse that what you have posted. Barnes in 26 NCAAT:

TWELVE 1st round losses
7 2nd round losses
7 Sweet 16s
3 Elite 8s
1 Final 4

19 of 26 tourneys he did not make the 2nd weekend

But I thought UT had already won their championship and the cut the nets down when they beat Gonzaga in that exhibition game…
Yeah, I'd say that exhibition "win" was the equivalent of "drinking the poison" for Tennessee. They clearly didn't take Colorado seriously. I watched from about the 5 minute point of the 1st half and the entire 2nd. They weren't able to stop straight line drives, first of all. They just weren't playing defense until Colorado made a serious run late in the the 2nd and then they were doing a lot of fouling and hoping to get bailed out by the refs (and they were bailing them out often, multiple biased calls). They were also taking a bunch of threes and missing them badly. I'm sure they'll shoot like the Golden State Warriors against us but they looked terrible today. They shot 10-37 from 3 today. They were missing a bunch of interior shots as well- Plavsic (their 7-1 center) didn't play and they missed him big time. They shot 23% on 2pt shots today. They had multiple chances to win. Colorado isn't very good at all. They just lost 83-74 to Grambling St on Friday night.
