I’ve seen folks posting they are overrated. Not in my opinion. They are very good. They have an excellent chance of going undefeated in SEC. Did you ever imagine that scenario.

I hope we spank them but they are good. In fact, I think they are a fair bit better than Duke.

We beat them and just about anybody in the country if we shoot well. We lose if we don't. It's that simple.

Thats fairly true for all top 10 teams. If they shoot it well they are all hard to beat.

They’re very, very good and could win it all. I had asked a question in a buried thread about them that was missed. Wonder why their SOS is where it is? I know we have so many different metrics now for that but was genuinely surprised at where they are still showing up statistically on these SOS assessments. Any thoughts from BBN?

They have been beating up on the bottom of the SEC while we have been playing Top 25 teams almost every week. Their last 7 games have been against teams in the 80s and 100s except for one in FL at 42. Their SOS is 70th ours 22nd so we will see on Saturday.

Uh, no one who knows a damn thing about CBB thinks the Vols are overrated.

If someone believes they are, then I would hate to hear what they think of our team.

If we don’t play better Saturday than we did Tuesday Night, the Vols will kick our asses.

I realize they are good, but what is a little lost in the convo. is they haven't played a Top 25 ranked team since Dec. 9th. We have played 6 in the same time frame going 5-1. Almost 6-1 with Miss St just out last time at 26th.

Since Tn played a ranked opponent on Dec. 9th they have played: Memphis, Samford, WF, TN Tech, Mizzo, GA, FL, ARK, Bama, Vandy, WVU, SC, A&M, Mizzo, FL and SC. Not exactly murders row.

They are only beating USC by 13 right now but they’d be beating pretty much anyone playing like this. Both teams are going crazy.

Have to agree. Can't understand why we recruit players that are supposed to be shooters but they can't hit the broad side of a barn more than not. Starting to wonder if someone's not messing with their form. We have to get better from outside to make a serious run.

Yeah not sure I understand the “we are overrated” posts either. We’ve lost 1 game in OT to Kansas when they had their big man. Since then we’ve won. Some games have been close, some have not. We can’t control the scheduling. Just go win and get ready for the next one.
