We don’t play a zone well. Too much collapsing. They go into the paint we have 3 guys sag down to the ball. Makes for an easy kick out
On the steal and pass out to Tap the zone was extended properly. Gotta do it that way all the time. Lather rinse repeat

As poorly as they played they are tied at half...Temple fans are probably saying the same thing.
Only took Taplin 19 1/2 minutes to get as aggressive as he was on Saturday. Couple times in the last4 minutes where he just turned himself out of the lane after getting a nice screen on the ball.
Igbanu needs to feel the back side help and pass out of the blocks. No reason he should be getting blocked that many times on layups by a guard dominated line up.
We needed to take advantage of Echenyiona being on the bench for most of the half...we didn’t.
If we can cut out the stupid ridiculous turnovers we should win by 10. Temple is not a good defensive team, they’re not a great shooting team. If we shoot our average 2nd half and continue the rebounding, we should be fine. But who the hell knows which Tulsa team will show up for the 2nd half.

I saw Cincy play ugly @ Temple. We usually play well here but really ugly half by both teams. The steals were the highlights along with 8 points from Korita. ( and the unbelievable three from Henderson). I’ve never seen one like that from that position on the floor.
Btw, gotta luv the video feed of the game. Feel like I’m stepping in and out of the Matrix.
When they showed the starting lineup Korita’s picture messed up just right that he looked like a fingernail with a face stuck on it. Highlight of the game for me.
If Taplin had gone hard to the basket we would have had an and one and a third foul on Echy instead of them having the and one.
I just turned this on... and see a Igbanu/Etou missed layup and a Taplin getting smothered on a fast break... and I say to myself.... "this is BAD basketball."
Better shooting to start but chances to go up 8-10 pts and Igbanu misses an uncontested layup and Taplin takes a lazy layup with a 6’9” breathing down his neck. Pull up and fake Obi into fouling you or go up and dunk. Can anyone besides Jeffries dunk?
