I try not to get too excited about Juco Ball results but....

I think Teddy will be a solid player. But Jervay Green often put up similar numbers at WNCC last year. He scored over 50 in one game where he made 10 3-pointers, and had several other games where he scored 40+ points.

Exactly why I said I try not to get too excited. He averaged 7 a game at WV. If he can average 12-14 here next year I’ll be happy. Anything more, I’ll be ecstatic.

If he is 12-14 with 5-7 rebounds a game...NU got a freaking steal. Those would be great numbers.

I'm hoping that Hoiberg's offense can get his numbers that high. I certainly wouldn't bet on that average if Miles was still here. I don't think 5 more points a game average would be too unreasonable, but we'll see.

Teddy Allen is very dangerous. Bigger and stronger than Green, and he's scoring at a higher clip than Green did last year, almost solely due to being a great free throw shooter whereas Jervey shot a little better than 50% from the line.

Teddy's biggest issue will be Teddy...as I THINK I related before, I happened to talk to him twice in Memphis last year when he was with WSU and he could not have been more delightful...but that's not always how things go...
