Now on to Senate. Everyone needs to contact their State Senator and urge him/her to oppose this stupid bill. If passed, high schools sports will be destroyed in Virginia.

That Article is dated February 2014. It died last year. hopefully it will die again this year, and hopefully Bell will be voted out of office in next election.

It gets introduced every year by the same ______________delegate from Charlottesville area. (Rob Bell)

OnceAKnight may have been premature in saying "not this time" and linking an old article but, it is worth noting this same bill with minor variations each year has been introduced since 2005. Early versions didn't make it out of the House while more recent versions that made it through the House have died in committee at the Senate level. There has been a change at the Senate level so the bill may in fact make it out of committee this time but, it could still be defeated on the floor. Hopefully, wiser minds in the Senate will prevail. It is surprising with Charlottesville being a VHSL stronghold that someone has mounted a challenge to Rob Bell.
