These teams received votes this week: Cincinnati 129, UNLV 19, North Texas 16, TCU 14, Mississippi St. 10, Navy 4, Louisville 3.

Not exactly a bunch of blue bloods, but Iowa is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Indiana and Illinois continue to rise in the Top 25. ISU, despite its loss, is still ranked, as are Vanderbilt, Virginia, and Memphis. Just thought I'd mention it.

Wow, Penn State and Texas are completely out of the Top 25. Total disrespect for UCLA and Florida! Had Iowa beaten Indiana last week, would they have fallen out of the poll?

Iowa got 5 votes in the AP poll I saw as they did last week. The polls are bragging rights week to week. Ark St being very close to ISU just points that ISU is not top 10, 3-4 of their 11 wins last year were very late in the game coming from behind which they can do but these wins were not against real strong competition

We lost to two ranked teams by 3 pts and 5 pts. And the AP is the press.

Clowns shouldn't be ranked. They haven't beaten anyone worth a crap and are fortunate to not have more losses. Iowa wasn't even top 50 team at that time with the way Mark was playing and the offense was playing.
Will be surprised if they beat Colorado on Saturday.

What was the line for Cincy? They play like that they will get beat. 3 starting DBs are OUT.
It’s still Colorado. Last year’s team….I think would pass all over the Cyclones. This year, with Colorado’s porous defense, the Clones should win. But…you never know.

They are opinion polls. No established criteria. Just pretty much for entertainment now that playoff invitations don't consider poll rank.

I was at the game and was shocked Texas dropped out of the top 25….Florida’s stadium was rocking, just as loud as Kinnick…of course it had 90K fans though. Florida is very good - their 6th string WR would be a star at Iowa…

It would have been Indiana's first loss, not their second. Indiana also demolished Illinois, a P4 team. Texas and Penn St have 2 losses each and no wins against P4 teams.
