Good effort win. Dylan had the look in his eye. Fun game to watch. Illinois moves the ball well but in 2H I thought there some decent individual defensive possessions by some of our guys. 3pt/FT disparity was certainly in our favor and played a big part in getting the win - about time.

Important win around the league.

They seemed to understand how to play winning time.

Impressive win and let's hope that builds on this.

Stomp Maryland.
I like this and we are all fans. Let's be positive. But the reality is if we win the next FIVE in a row we are 11-11 quad 1/2/3. And then it's at Mich, at Purdue and hosting an improving Minn.

"Blowing a 17 point lead" is nonsense. They didn't blow anything. They won the game and assumed control at winning time. That lead helped them and overcoming that lead sapped Illinois.

The name of the game is to win

What would it take to get an at large? Would 6-2 in the remaining regular season and a few B1G tourney wins be bubble worthy?

Looked like Illinois was tired at the end after coming back from 17 down.

Yes 6-2 gets us on the bubble. Anything less and we’d need to win the the big ten tourney .

It’s both. They are mutually exclusive.
It’s near universally acknowledged in all sports that if you have a sizable lead and that lead goes to zero - it’s a blown lead.

Blowing a lead has nothing to do with the outcome of a game.

I'd defer to bac and fluox on that. It's not 0% but it's not going to be easy by any stretch.
