It must have been fun drawing mask on the team. I picture the old Looney Tunes and the Daffy mustache bandit, but have this song in my head for some reason.It's a team unity thing...

Yeah normally I wouldn't like that look. But knowing just reading about them and the kids Cal recruits here you know they are good kids. Hell I'm already loving them!

Yeah. I took it as kids goofing off at 1 a.m. to intentionally rile "those" people up. It worked.

I think after Hawkins hangs up his Kentucky jersey we should hire the kid to condition our football team. The way that kid looks, he has to live in the weightroom and hopefully he has decided to spend more time in the gym working on his shot. With as hard as he brings it on the court, if the kid can ever get his shooting from deep at a high %, he will be the type of kid that no matter how talented our roster is, we can't bring him off the floor. He already brings it at a elite level on D and last season it didn't seem his shot wasn't that bad. This could be the season Hawkins decides he wants to make more of a legacy at Kentucky than he currently has. The team looks great. Bam looks like a future superstar at the college level and at the pro level. The dude looks like he is built like Dwight Howard. We will have a frontcourt player rebounding the ball that we won't have to worry if someone on the coaching staff sneezes he won't be blowed off of position and will grab the rebound. Briscoe looks ready to lead this team. If he can get every guy on the roster bringing it every moment they are on the court like himself, this season and roster will be easier to coach for Cal than any he has had so far at Kentucky. Willis is looking good as well. At least the kid is standing up and i am feeling sorry for him once Cal puts him to work for what he did earlier this year. With Cal being so cocky about this team already, this team looks like a bunch of winners and maybe even future Ncaa champions!

Old lady here. Get the garb off of your faces. Thug look is not for this program. Have respect for this amazing legacy you have the honor of representing. And don't give me the if you don't like it, don't follow the team crap. Been dedicated to the Cats longer than most of you have been alive. Will watch them, just want some respect shown for all the greats who came before them. Don't like the new logo either so there!
I'm sorry, have you been robbed by somebody wearing a t-shirt over their head? Has a person wearing a t-shirt over their head ever brought you or a loved one harm? I'm going to assume not, so how about we not resort to telling anybody how to wear their clothes following a practice, or at any time really, and not categorize good kids by all accounts as "thugs" because they have a t-shirt up over their head after a hard practice in the middle of the night.
Respect doesn't come factor into any of this, some of you are just being hateful for personal reasons. I guarantee you that no UK great would say "Well son, it would be much more respectful if you pulled your shirt down all the way, or took it off all the way, but don't leave it halfway on. That's being disrespectful to the program!"
And what exactly makes you think they're not showing respect to former greats? Because they have their shirts off and a few of them are joking around with t-shirts on their faces? I know this is all off topic, but the confusion usually comes in because of two bits;
First, because the visual connection between assault rifles and their civilian versions.
Second, there is a lot of confusion between "assault weapons," a term used in the assault weapon ban from some years back, and "assault rifles".
I'd be much more concerned with the misuse of the term "semi automatic" than I would the "assault rifle/assault weapon" confusion.
