Adrian looked good. Mills and O line looked good.Out yarded Wisconsin. Few penalties. Need Wandale and some more playmakers. We'll get there.

Played hard and did a lot of good things. The kick return and the INT hurt, bad. Missed FG didn’t help either.

I did seem their attitude was more positive about playing harder. I don’t mean this bad, but we should have won this game also.
GBR!

This may have been Nebraska’s best game all season. If they play this well next week they have a decent shot to beat Maryland. Five wins is a legit possiblilty.

That was terrible QB play.

We didn't even cover the spread. It's sad that a 16-point home loss is seen as a moral victory now.

Agree. Saw some good things today and they played hard. Nice to see that!

It was a case of one step forward and two steps back at critical times. Came away with zero points on two red zone trips and a missed field goal.

If they play hard against Maryland and Iowa they put themselves in a position to win.

Well the play calling didn't help,1st and 10 at the 25 and they throw ?20 yard sack and the rest is history 37-21.

Well. According to some on here it would be a million points and yards. Two of our starting D linemen and our biggest offensive weapon were out with little depth I think we fought well. Sorry you're a Nancy *****. Stay off my thread then boy.

I was impressed with the oline all day - a few high snaps and a couple missed blocks. But overall much improved.. Mills gets an A+

The defense and special teams get an F they averaged over 10 yards per play.. just a joke.. i dont vare if its scheme or effort F

Most disconcerting this year wasn’t necessarily the win loss record but the visible regression, quitting, and terrible tackling and qb play — we may have lost today BUT at least there were some flashes of improvement and we can feel better about this game then many of expected to. Moral victories is all I’ve had for Nebraska for many years.

Too bad the coaches didn't fight as hard as the players.Yeah yeah yeah I know there was bad tackling, surprise , but come on man Mills was running like a beast.

If we play this well next week, we have more than a "decent shot" to beat Maryland.

Giving up 37 points isn’t fighting hard. Having almost 500 yards on offense and scoring 21 Points is mind blowing
I thought they fought hard on defense, bad tackling, but it must have been hard when offense is screwing up.

They definitely looked better although the D and ST continue to plague this team. If those areas could just be average, this team will turn the corner. That Wisconsin defense is no joke and we put it them pretty good. I think we will beat Maryland and then maybe somehow we can pull off a win against Iowa.

Adrian makes too many mistakes to be good. The pick is not his fault, but the sacks are bad.
How about the over/ under throws? Sick and tired of hearing crap about the recievers, throw them the ficking ball, damn it.They catch it and run of the balls there.

Only 320 rushing yards allowed. Give Frost and Chins another 5 year extension!

A much better showing than I had anticipated. Frost and Co had the guys ready to go, it just came down to us having absolutely horrible players at certain positions and little to no P5 quality depth.

Dudes like AM and Pickering cost us the game. Having to go to walkons in key drives is just sad. Guys like Mazour should never freaking ever be getting key touches at Nebraska.

I don't know a lot, but I would say 3 key plays cost us the game. 1) The kick off return for a TD 2) The tipped interception that gave WI a short field and 3)the AMart sack for -20. That was the difference. We were never going to stop Taylor, but Mills offset his effort.

Best oline play this season.
Mills!!!
Best Martinez has played this season.
Both against top 10 D and without several playmakers.
Defense needs to tackle, holy smokes!
Kicker HAS to hit that kick... I like our chances against Maryland.

Not sure how Iowa will play out!

Nebraska adding the midline read today looks to be a great idea. Kudos to the staff for that. Haven’t seen them run that this season. Gave Wisconsin fits. Need to come up with some packages to finish red zone drives. This was not an embarrassing loss in my opinion. What this will boil down to is Nebraska vs. Iowa for a chance to play in a bowl game in two weeks. Gotta take care of the terps first. I understand fan frustration, but you can’t ask Tim “The Toolman” Taylor to build a house with scissors, duct tape, a couple pencils, and a ladder. Frost needs dudes. They will get dudes. You could see glimpses today.
In addition, it was good to see Casey Rogers and Ty Robinson out there today. You can kind of see what the vision of the defensive front is going forward. They will be a big, long group. Just not strong enough yet. A quick fix at inside backer should be the top priority going forward, as Mo Barry looks as if he has regressed. Hopefully Heinrich and the kid from Tennessee in last years class can be an upgrade next season. Things will get better. Glad they competed today.

Offense played well for the most part. ST was a disaster and couldn't stop their run game. Huskers can't get out of their own way still. Key plays

1. KOR TD
2. INT when Adrian had all day to throw
3. Taking a 21 yard sack when we were deep in WI territory

Ends up negating a day when we rush for 274 yards at 7.4 ypc. That includes all of the sack yardage.

Mills was a beast and our O-line brought it on run blocking. AMart was much better today but still not making the plays needed to get it done, in particular in the red zone. Adding to that, AMart has very little help. Can’t believe Rahmir isn’t better than Mazour.

How in the hell did we run the ball like that? Hope we see that the next two weeks.

We still need to be more efficient on offense. 500 yards of offense should yield more than 21 points. Three drives deep into Wisconsin territory in the 2nd half yielded zero points.

Offense wasn't bad. One of these days they'll get around to teaching how to tackle, kicking and punting, and going after balls rolling around on the ground. Baby steps
