I don't like saying this but..... I have a sneaking suspicion that Pogi is doping. one tell tale is that he isn't breathing hard. How one dopes in this day and age with WADA's biological passport and the frequency of testing is a head scratcher though. Remco surprised-- i thought he cracked at the last climb---come high Alps and Remco will fold and of course blame it on anything and everything.
Remember that Lance was mainly busted because he ratted out and threw other people under the bus. Cycling has been a doper sport for decades. Even before EPO you had cyclists hopped up on meth and god knows what else.
yep, even in the amateur classifications. I've raced against dopers. some got caught. and I've been accused of doping as well, both IRL racing as well as Zwift racing. Hence, i pause and am reluctant accuse Pogi.--but I really think he is.
I saw a clip yesterday of the TDF announcers discussing this. The best they could come up with is that if he was they would have heard about it and they haven’t so he must not be.
I mean...if they are smart they will never get married and never have kids.
Why let a piece of paper ruin it? He is getting the milk for free.

at one point he was the virtual 2nd position in GC.

Why do men cyclists wear spandex? Do they really think they are training for some kind of race that matters? Or is bicycling just the excuse to shove your body into a spandex suit and try to walk around like it's now socially acceptable?
I get it when women wear their yoga or gym outfits all day, even when they clearly don't work out.. I'm just wondering if this is the same reason for the "men"?
Naturally I'm horrified at seeing some middle age man in his yellow jersey walking around whole foods and I can't be the only one who thinks this is creepy beyond.

Are you referring to a cycling kit?
Cycling jersey--spandex/Lycra/nylon, 3 pockets at lowerback
Bib shorts--spandex/Lycra/nylon, legs of shorts longer, has built in suspenders, has materiel at mid/lower abdomen and low back, has a sewn in "chamois" at peritoneal area and at ischial tuberosities
or Skin suit. spandex/Lycra/nylon, one piece, with chamois , rear pockets, fits better in aero position than standing.
I've never seen anyone walking around in a grocery store or other social places just wearing their kit----yes that would be weird.

It was total B.S. but if their going to do something like that, they shoulda done it to more of the top riders at the same time. Inc Seixas. Especially Seixas, because now it looks super fishy.
agree the top 10 should have been also tested-----testing 2 and 5 in the morning would have caught dozens and dozens of riders in the past.

Evenepoel and Lipowitz also tested overnight by anti-doping
..if I am understanding tnat article correctly, Pogi was tested at 5AM? That's a far cry from 2AM and Remco was tested at 10PM, going into a rest day? Is that right?? ...and a French judge signed off on the 2AM for Jonas? Looks to me like they aren't even trying to hide they want Seixas on the podium and this was a hail mary to help try and make that happen.
