TBT game brawl

I went to a TBT basketball game with the wife and kids last night. Game was between KU alumni and WSU alumni. Turned into multiple fights and a bloody mess by the post game. Curious if/what anyone has heard about it and outside opinions. I enjoy outsider perspective to avoid group think and information bubbles.
Kind of disgraceful and not the representation the men should feel good about. Hard to punish players given the format besides not allowing them to be rostered in the future.

I didnt hate the idea if but it needed to stay alumni only. 10-15 years removed or something along those lines. Fun way for guys to compete and fun for fans. There were 9k fans in attendance due to it being a local rivalry. Pretty 50/50 fan split.
Ugly fight and no place for any of it. Hoping that will be the end of this tournament for both teams for a while if not forever. Might even end the tournament.
She should and most likely will sue and win. He likely has very little to give her and no personal liability insurance. He is playing in a winner take all tournament for a alumni team of a school he didnt attend where the players are maybe paid a per diem.
At least 1 fan should catch some charges for getting involved, id prefer if a few players did too. Unfortunate there is no real governing body with the ability to levy any punishment outside of a lifetime ban from a pickup tournament.

Very unfortunate. But how does that work when there is an alumni division and this dude is a non alumni playing in the alumni division?

Alumni teams have to have X number of alumni. I dont know what that number is.
Took the family last year and WSU won the whole thing while we were there kids enjoyed it. Wife is alum there and it was fun to cheer for a team in mid july. She wanted to do it again. I thought it was a sad display by a few. Ive gone back and forth on the fan who got too involved but he absolutely needs to be charged. I left immediately after final shot and didnt even know about the last brawl until I got home.

There's also I think a 5 on 5 college alumni tourney too, right? Anyway, I saw the finals of a 3 on 3 winner take all and damn, that looked impossible to ref. That winner take all thing will bring the worst out in anybody. The fouling, the game was teetering on going out of control. Sounds like one of the games finally did. Not surprised.

Yep and this is the 5 on 5 we are talking about in this thread I posted about the wrong tournament.
