For those who have asked how Tavon can shoot from the outside, last night he hit 6 threes and scored 40 points in the win over Elizabeth. He now has 487 points this season in 19 games for an average of 25.6 ppg. He has 38 threes on the season for 2 per game. As a soph one game he had 5 threes vs. Roselle Catholic at RC. He definitely can hit the three but he is more of a slasher and a defensive player. I think he was 6-9 on threes last night.

He wouldn't be a stud in the B1G but he'd be an upgrade to our roster.

I feel the same as kcg88. I doubt Tavon would be a star for RU but he would definitely help us as a guard. He is better now than a few of our players. I also believe he could play point guard.

Has he changed the release on his shot any? From what I recall he had an unusual release on his jumper.

Knights,

What are his limitations at the big ten level you think?

Seems like he is another player that will go elsewhere and RU will regret it.

Though a slasher like you said, he seems like a shooter that is needed here.
