You are not alone.

I looked at my son and said "Saban just yanked a guy who is 25-2 as a starter because he's looking for more of a spark down by 2 scores in the National Championship game. We were down 2 scores AND 7 GAMES and we didn't want to hurt our QB's supposedly fragile psyche."

Honestly, once we concentrate on actually just winning maybe we'll get to where we want to go. Seems to work in other places without the benched player resorting to self mutilation or needing life long mental therapy.

Dodd and Nova? Laviano?
What’s the definition of insanity again?

True, too bad he could not even see the field on a bad FCS team.
What you are missing is if he was put in the game and RU was playing Georgia, RU would have won the game. (that's the most logical conclusion of the could have, should have, would have crowd--because that same player saw the field so often under the new HC and OC). o_O

Because I like to torture myself, all I could think about last night was how the best coach in the country had no problem going to an unproven QB IN THE NC GAME to provide a spark but we couldn't pull Laviano once while getting our asses handed to us week after week.
I know it's beating a dead horse but still. Sigh.
Or Gary Nova.

Georgia either had a miscommunication on the TD (safety thought cover 4 and CB thought cover 2) or it was a terrible call to be in cover 2.

Where do they move in 3 years. I get it that people can find a way to make this make sense but come on man...It would be more dependent on what the parents do for a living, can the easily just do it from any state and what are their long term plans...Cost of living is only a minor factor. You are also talking moving away from family, heritage etc

Agreed it could look sketchy but people do work from home nowadays, or maybe he works as a sales rep for a national brand and they agreed to let him change his area for 4 years, who knows.

And he apologized because his parents would be mad that he answered the first question without giving all glory to god first

So he honored King Jesus AND his parents?

Perhaps moving to be close to their son in college was a long planned move. I am sure they’ve invested greatly in their son to help get him ranked as a #1 QB recruit.
They must plan on moving a lot going forward. I just read that's he's the oldest of 4 and his younger brother is the QB at his former high school.

Good info listening to Dan Patrick this morning.
First Lane Kiffin says that Tau was likely to transfer if he didn't get in the game last night.
Next, Kirk Herbstreit than says Saban told them in the early week interview with him and Fowler that it was likely that Tau would at least get a series.

Frost was OC and QB coach at Oregon prior to UCF and was recruiting Milton for Oregon. When he left Oregon for UCF Milton followed him. Hawaiian product Toa Tagovailoa is the backup QB at Alabama also very talented and will be interesting to see how they keep him happy there as he is a super talent.

This was a quote on an earlier thread on Milton from UCF, but i think we figured how they are going to keep Tau happy.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Jalen Hurts either switching positions to WR or transfer out. Tua will be the starting QB next year.

Jalen Hurts was a starting FR QB last year and won SEC Freshman and SEC Offensive player of the year. I can see why Saban didn’t want to switch QB with another true freshman QB especially when Hurts was SEC FR last year.

True, but it's quite obvious that Tua may not run quite as well as Hurts but his passing is on another level. Tua is something special. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Hurts transfers out.

This appears to be the same type of situation when Ohio State won NC, I believe they had 3 QB that played well.

It is a shame we had that 5* QB sitting behind Laviano and did not play him.

That supposed 5 Star couldn’t start at three different schools. The kid was a total miss...that’s why we got him.

A real 5 Star would never transfer to play for Flood.

I was thinking more like Johnny Manziel, but probably a stronger arm and, for his sake, hopefully not a headcase.
