Brotherhood until we need your scholarship.
An atheltic scholarship pulled just opens it up for them to give to another recruit. I am sure coach K and Duke will find a way to get the kid on an academic scholarship/grants. Its been done before and will be done again.

All this means is either Duke expects to return both Hurt and Stanley. Or they have seccured a commitment from another recruit whoes yet to announce. Otherwise makes no sense to open an extra scholly when they have enough to hand out to their recruit class and current returnees.

I think I have read that if they move kids from an athletic scholarship to an academic one to free up a scholly for someone else they have violated the rules. Are you sure they have done that?

I'm offended.

Why?

I think Matthew Hurt is not transferring, but Stanley is entering the draft, so their starting five would be Roach, Moore, Johnson, Hurt, Tape I would think.

So, this:

G Roach/Goldwire
G Moore/Steward
F Johnson/Baker
F Hurt/Brakefield
F Tape/Williams/Coleman

Carey is definitely gone. No way he goes there to play behind him and fight Williams and Coleman for minutes.

So Duke is looking something like this, at best:

G Roach/Goldwire
G Stanley/Steward
F Moore/Baker
F Johnson/Brakefield
F Tape/Williams/Coleman

Am I missing anyone significant?

I think Stanley might still bolt, but who knows?

Pretty young team (probably older than ours, though). Will rely heavily on Stanley, Moore, and Johnson for scoring.
Doesn't Dook already have a bunch of bigs? Yet they are also going after Haarms too. It doesn't make a lot of sense.

I don't know about that. I immediately thought of the Brandon Ingram team, but they were better than I remembered (25 wins, 4 seed) That '06/07 team was bad though with all underclassman - Paulus, McRoberts, Scheyer and Nelson. I don't think their upcoming team will be that bad.
The Austin Rivers team was pretty bad
