Michigan lost the game yesterday because their accurate pro style QB threw 2 ridiculous INTs....I swear our fans are either liars or blind.

Lamar Jackson turns the ball over every game and it cost them against Kentucky

DeShaun Watson is a turnover machine.

Lmao..you guys ain't watching other games or you lying.

JT Barrett's passing was garbage yesterday but his coaches used his feet to win...

They have something we don't . ..a defense that holds up, or creates turnovers when needed....Imagine that...it takes both sides of the ball to win....accept at Nebraska.

Don't really feel like rereading this entire thread, but I don't remember posters saying we are just fine on defense...

This thread has become a pissing match, for sure, between those who say we are satisfied and those who say nothing has changed.

One thing everyone agrees on in this thread, however, is that we need to continue to get better. That's offense, defense, and especially ST.

Now this is where we are divided once again, between those who think the coaches can do this and those who already know they can't. Everyone knows where I fall in this debate...

Edit: sorry, thought I was in a different thread... this doesn't quite fit here, but I'll leave it anyways...

Wrong thread but a solid post. I was ready to fire everyone yesterday. I was so pissed to get blown out by damn Iowa. But I have cooled off.
The future is bright. Carry on....

Definitely need some more play makers on D. We are exceptionally weak at a couple of positions..........well one in particular and MR was left with NOTHING at that position.

I know folks will probably hit the ceiling, but do you think our team would be this soft if Frost was running the show? not saying Frost is the answer but I believe he would have at least instilled a tough guy work ethic from the top down.

Where is this soft **** coming from? Nebraska dominated the fourth quarter of most games this year with a physical run game.

Under Frost we would look the same.

I have not done a deep dive on the rosters but my superficial impression is the Iowa is getting a hell of a lot more out of their home grown players (hell and even some players from Neb) than Nebraska is out of players from Nebraska.

What has happened to Nebraska high school football.

Casual observation: Too many high school coaches getting away from "power" football. Coaches in love with the shot-gun, spreading the field and throwing the ball in 3-4 seconds, or letting your qb scramble on his own when blocking breaks down. Basically a Dinardo phrased "soft" football teams. No power I, veer, option, wishbone, etc.. The style of football high schools used to run. (Ok, ok, I know there still are a few). Hurts the development of offensive lineman who don't learn the road grader mentality. I'll wait for the bashing of my opinion.

I see virtually every team in my area running the spread "look at me" style of offense. Makes me want to puke. Then they have a kid playing QB that throws prayers out there trying to make the big play. It's pathetic. Part of it is that in fact our kids are soft. Go try to find a kid that wants to work hard physically. It's virtually impossible.

Two things we could really use are a high quality pass rusher and a B1G quality LB.
