Duke lost to Lehigh in the tournament
and yeah I think a ND loss could be a stake in our coffin. They suck and after last season we can’t lose anymore crappy games. Even osu will be brutal if we lose. If we can’t smash ND then this season will be a 12 loss deal and possibly miss the tourney. It’s an extremely important game or the apathy will be so great that the program will be on the verge of a major catastrophe. This season has to be far and away better than last year. Beating the deaf and blind does zero for us
Been down this road too many times. Notre Dame is AFWUL this year, but Cal's teams do not historically do well in their first road games. And, of course, ND is throwing everything they have at this one:

I know that.. my point is that any team can lose to any other team. Duke lost, in March, to a low-major that wasn't even particularly "great" in its conference. So losing to ND in early December is hardly as big of a deal.
A stake in our coffin? Were 7-1. Going 7-2 and dropping one to Notre Dame while we get guys back from injury is hardly a death sentence. Chances are, we're gonna lose one of our next few OOC games.
So now that were past complaining about our easy schedule.. fans have to now complain about possibly losing to Notre Dame in a power conference.. when does it end?

Won’t be brutal but at some point UK is gonna have to beat someone. And you know how the committee is about non conference games. I also think UK fans need to see the change. Not just listen to cal talk about it. We’ve gotta see it or rupp will be pushing 2/3 capacity all year
I will say this about Keion, he had pretty dang good rebounding numbers per minute last year. He also also has a few easy ones this year which Oscar backed off so we didn't fight each other and lose it(a negative on Brooks numbers this year because those shouldn't have been his)

LMAO what is going in with this board. People freaking out about losing to a team we haven’t played yet and claiming a loss would seal our fate in the NIT. We will crush ND and will be in the NCAAT. Even if we somehow lost our first road game of season in a crazy atmosphere at sub-par ND, we are still in the tournament. And will be one of the top 2 teams in the SEC. lighten up Francis.
This team should blow out ND. They are bad but haven’t played at home in almost a month. I look for a rowdy crowd and a close game
