and on the morning interview with Saban.

Saban praised Lane on his time with Bama and said he was a great coach. Lane responded that any problems he and Saban had were due to his lack of maturity and the problems were all on him.

In the halftime interview as he was walking away he said something to the EXTENT of and we aren't even playing our NFL guys.

He just can't help himself!

He said “Imagine if we had pro players” when they were up 31-3 at half. He’s a troll and he enjoys being a troll. It’s part of his personality. It was funny about 10 years ago. Now it’s just eye rolling.

I hate to say it, but he and LSU are a perfect match. He walked in with Von and Dunn, it was a circus. Gameday had Lainey Wilson. He's going to win big there if he can stay out of trouble. That place brings a lot of things that can take a man down and he's susceptible to those kinds of things, but LSU can hide the bodies better than the mafia.

It’s almost like this is pro wrestling drama and he’s trying to play the heel. It won’t pay off for Kiffin or LSU to have the entire media and college football fanbase to hate his guts. He’s asking for trouble.

I think there has to be something about Layne's coaching that doesn't match his public persona. His teams are clearly well coached and prepared. That LSU team was the most focused I've seen them in a first game, maybe ever. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the SEC this year. People hating on Leavitt don't know crap either. He's going to be a monster in that offense and is the best QB athlete Layne has maybe ever had in this offense. Especially as head coach. I look forward to them beating Ole Miss and Alabama.

It’s going to be a typical LSU disaster. The question is when & what will trigger it. He’s gonna win & have success & continue to whip that fan base into a frenzy & then something is going to happen. Whether lane does something stupid, some scandal from within the athletic department, or from above, or a combination of all, this won’t be a dynasty

Is it bad I’m enjoying the Lane attention and them smoking Clemson while he parades in with celebrities because I know what it’s doing to Ole Miss? They need and crave that attention but he’s stealing it all. They can act like they don’t care but I know the truth. Do it Lane…..until we play them. Then have your weird game where you crap your pants.

Lane always loses some head scratchers. We'll see if that's the case now that he has more talent, but let's don't sweep that under the rug just yet.

With a 12 team playoff, he can afford to lose one or two of those a year and still make the playoffs, so maybe it doesn't even matter.

He owned up to it in the postgame presser.

He is a savant. That’s why he seems so strange but is wildly successful.

A savant? Really? The worship of Lane Kiffin by some on this board is really strange to me. Yeah, he’s a good coach, but he hasn’t ever won anything as an head coach except a Conference USA championship and has left a trail of destruction everywhere he’s been. He definitely hasn’t been “wildly successful”

They'll be like UM and keep that stuff in a file until they need it. You won't hear anything until he's gone.

He is the best offensive mind in the game and took OM to the CFP semifinal. What else do you need him to do to prove himself? I’m not familiar with a trail of destruction.

Because UM wouldn't let him coach in the playoffs but he let his offensive staff coach without him. Don't be blind. Kiffen got UM where they were last year.

The worship and defense of everything amd anything related to UM on here is what's really strange in my opinion.
