Hilarious. Because no one else on here knew he ruined his life riding a motorcycle. You know what would make it even funnier? Make fun of the suicide attempts.

It was ALMOST Jay Williams, Troy Murphy, and Dahntay Jones all On the Banks. That team would have made a Final Four Run. We have that talent in Jersey, it's why we always say someday....

PS - I don't think until Pike we had the coach or recruiting to pull it off. Pike is the guy!

Was the number 2 overall pick from Jersey, flirted ever so lightly w coming to RU, had a horrific accident, and has been a commentator on ESPN...we Can be salty about his prediction but let’s not pretend like he’s not a huge name in college basketball, especially NJ...

So you think his life is "ruined", that what is doing today is worthless. I'm sure that he would appreciate THAT.

Still can't believe that ahole wanted to be RU HC. So he can tell recruits why they should go to RU instead of a big name program. Would his recruiting pitch have started "don't do as I did"? Let's not forget that he also was instrumental in getting Dahntay Jones to transfer from RU. Not bad enough that he himself didn't go to Rutgers, he f*cked us over twice.

Give him credit for owning up to it, but guess he did not see Florida State game. Seeing that game I believed we could beat Seton Hall.

You’re obviously not highly intelligent. He felt as though he ruined his life and was suicidal. But he turned it around.

So, yes, his life was in ruins. Ruined is not a permanent state in life.

You and Jay Williams should consider getting a room together. Just make sure that it is on the Duke campus and not here.

At least he was honest to you, as versus the revisionist history he made up when showing interest for the RU HC job that eventually went to Pikiell. Thank g-d that Hobbs was able to see through him and make a great hire in Steve P.
