worst damn tackling team in the country and it isn't close.
The tackling is bad but I do believe it is better than several years ago. Main improvement IMO has come from the front 7. I honestly didn't get to watch the whole game today but against osu I thought the dbs tackled well just gave way too much cushionworst damn tackling team in the country and it isn't close.

Lol how well did that work out for Riley?Go back and look at Scott's comments on teaching tackling when he first got to Lincoln. Riley in is last year with Huskers had hired a consulting company that teaches football players how to tackle rugby style, wrap and roll. Pete Carroll is a big proponent of this method. Scott assured everyone that comp[any's services would not be necessary because he and his assistants were getting paid very well to teach such fundamental skills to their players. Maybe he should give that company a call. (Full disclosure. I know an employee of this company and his job is to break down the game tape of the teams that employ them).
It's not just the Huskers. NFL player are more likey to try to knock the man with the ball off their feet than to actually tackle them.

Well the dude with one arm in the NFL gets a pass, right???It is not so much that I am a proponent of the consulting company teaching proper tackling as I am critical of Scott assuring us fans that he and his staff were quite capable of teaching their players how to tackle when clearly they have not.
Living in the Northwest I watch the Seahawks. The Griffin twins who played for Scott at Central Florida are not great at wrapping up either.

Calm downHe has both arms. He doesn't have one hand. He can still wrap up, but ok lets give him a break. He does make a great spy on mobile quarterbacks because he is so fast. So what is his brother's excuse who has both hands?
Just another one of Scotty’s arrogant, big mouth comments. Add it to the ever growing list as he continues to lose.Go back and look at Scott's comments on teaching tackling when he first got to Lincoln.
