they took a lot of heat that said they didnt belong even though their resume showed that they beat 5 top 50 schools this year. Not surprised at all by this turnaround and yes they lucked out in getting Mid tenn st...and now luck out again in having to face Gonzaga who is hot but beatable
The Syracuse 2-3 zone is the equalizer in the NCAA Tournament because most opponents haven't faced such a defense before especially with their tall guards.
There are no breaks in the field of 64. These teams are there for a reason. With the exception of a couple, they are the best teams in the country.
Gonzaga another monster.Wiltjer and Sabonis can beat ANYBODY left in tournament at this point but don't love their matchup vs the zone.

Lol! See weak bubble teams Cuse and Gonzaga playing for Elite Eight. Guess other teams were just as deserving. Wichita State 2x, VCU, NC State, Dayton, UCLA. Almost comical how all those weak undeserving bubble teams make incredible runs. Confirms Committe screws up.
