Explain how I am bashing given the definition above. You think speculating that a recruit's skill set may not be up to the big Ten level is bashing ? I don't. Time will tell if my speculation is well founded or not. I'll be happy to bump this thread in 2 years and say I was wrong - if it's still on the system.

Thank you for asking. Yes, that is clearly bashing IMO. Particularly when you follow it up by saying you think our recruiting class is a "disASHter".
As for me, I'm thrilled that Simmons is coming to Rutgers.
Yes, I think what you said is bashing.
It's criticizing recruits (and Ash) not only harshly, but quite possibly unfairly since none of us can say what will happen and there's absolutely nothing to gain by speculating so negatively about it now.
Nobody is going to care in two years if you were right or wrong. Think about it. People for whom having guessed right or wrong on a football forum is important need to get a life. IMO, it's far more important not to be overly negative and unkind (although a little unkind to each other in a gentle and loving way is just good fun

If you want to bash a kid, bash the kids who use your school as leverage to get other offers. Alot of northern kids come down here and do that. This Simmons kid WANTED to play for Rutgers. Point is that Ash got his *** in Alabama. Ash got his *** in Tennessee. Ash is getting into Georgia. Look at what your coach is doing. Kid had conditional offers from every school in the SEC. Thank us when he makes All Big Ten in that league. Oh yea Roll Tide!!!
