Caleb Osborne drilled the nets for 30 points in leading the Scarlet Hurricanes to a Southwest District win over the Pioneers.
Adam Hooker paced Lebanon with 15 points.
Union 79, (3A) Abingdon 62
James Mitchell led Union with an impressive 13 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block in a Mountain 7 District win over Abingdon.
Justin Falin scored 19 points and only missed two shots from the floor, and Nola Garrison scored 16 points and had six rebounds for the Bears (12-6, 7-2).
Trent Cox led Abingdon (8-10, 3-6) with 13 points and Thomas Francisco added 11 for the Falcons.
GIRLS
Wise County Central 70, Lee High 25
Gracie Mullins connected on five 3-pointers and finished with 21 points to lead the Warriors (18-1, 8-1) to a Mountain 7 District win over the Generals.
Alexis Tabor led Lee High with 11 points.
Lebanon 59, Marion 27
Averie Price scored a game-high 22 points and had six 3-pointers for Lebanon in a win over Marion.
Kara Long scored 13 points on the strength of three 3-pointers for the Pioneers.
Marion’s Gracie Billings scored 12 points and Abbie Jennings chipped in with 10 points.
(3A) Abingdon 66, Union 59
Union’s Abigail Webb and Ashley Chester put up 17 points apiece, but the team fell seven points short to Abingdon in a Mountain 7 District clash as the Bears were outscored by 11 points in the second half.
Grace Hess scored a game-high 20 points for Abingdon (16-3, 7-2) and Mattie Gibson added 14 points.
Union fell to 10-8 overall and 3-6 in the Mountain 7.
