Hey swo#1, where are all the swo posters. I unblocked two of them so we could engage this week leading up to Fridays big game. They bad mouthed Northeastern every chance they got all yr and now when it's time for our teams to play they have disappeared.
Even the other guy who dislikes me has not posted anything. I even somewhat tried to make amends with him. Oh well SWO#1 I really enjoy your company up here. If Northeastern were to happen to lose I still will post up here. We all lose at some point and it sucks. It's even harder when your team is the favorite and they lose. I know if my Eagles were to lose then everyone would reappear on this thread and talk smalk. I have very thick skin and have to as a Northeastern fan on these boards.

New verse coming tomorrow on the game rhyme. I have racked my brain and cant seem to grasp that Miami Hurricane thing with NE. I'll keep trying tho. Maybe its because I'm a MidWest guy now, Oklahoma for sure, La is another one. I like Nebraska also but they are having a worse year than NC State....LOL and thats bad. Missouri aint doing real well either.

Yes sir the Wolfpack is playing very shorthanded. So many starters have been injured that I actually feel bad for the coach. I'll explain how the Miami Hurricanes equate with Northeastern in due time. I have a question about your qb. Did you say he was 6'3? Also what grade is he? Honestly it sounds to me like SWO has a very bright future and are going to be loaded next year. It's going to be interesting to see how we perform with Biggie back in the picture. I would hope that it will be a positive for us but It doesn't necessarily have to be. I love our coach and what he's doing in Elizabeth City. I would love for us to be able to win a state c ship before we go to 1a.

The QB, Moore is a Soph. Yes he is 6'3" and last week coach said he was 220. Good coaches are hard to find. When Phil Padgett retired I think a lot worried who in the world would fill his shoes. But Coach Dempsey has done a terrific job. He was All State Lineman under Coach Padgett and got a ring in 2000. Played at ECU on the line. Came back and was Asst. under Padgett. After that first year in 2015 went to the playoffs and then 2 in a row to the Eastern Finals. He will return us to a powerhouse (just about there)I have no doubt. Great Assst. coaches also. When our Defense coach, Tommy Barnes retired with Phil it was a double whammy. Looks like your coach also is gonna be a good one, well already is ....

We struggled a lots of years in 1A. Just about always ranked #1 and always in the fight, but just couldnt get over the hump. Moving up to 2A it all came together. Dropped back to 1AA in 2012 and finally got it there. Seems like NE is doing everything right, hang in there and it will come. BUT NOT THIS YEAR ......

Well , if we wernt there, I would say Whiteville. I know everybody is high on Clinton but I dont think so. In an earlier post you said NE by 4 TDs, now it down to 3 ..... Having second thoughts ....

A flock of eagles went out flying one dark and windy day

Upon a light pole at the field they rested along their way

When all at once a mighty herd of red eyed Stallions they saw

A- running on the road and up the cloudy draw


Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel

Their manes were black and shiny and their hot breath they could feel

A bolt of fear went through them as they thundered through the sky

Although I do add some drama in my own words from the visual I get. As for calling NE next week sorry, I dont do basketball. Swo#1 NE-32 is in the Elizabeth City area for those like myself. The ones your reading online are just for talk amongst fans and entertainment but they are more reflective of where I would be comfortable. 32,not so much, I just can't pull the trigger. Don't get me wrong in my heart I think it's possible but my wallet says NO!! Lol

Interesting things about NE. Once again they beat a state champion from Virginia, and tell everyone how great they are, but once they get into a big game with anyone that has a name anyone can say without laughter they have been prone to losing.

WRH and NE are just average, and all year with there loses they have proven that. Supposedly NE has a player coming back that will change all the losing! I am just hard headed, but until they beat a good team NE remains suspect to me!
