And if they ran twice for no gain and passed incomplete on 3rd down, Frost would have been bagged on for going into a shell. I didn't have a problem with the call. It was a wiffed block away from being a big gain.
So who is actually calling the plays coach frost or Troy Walters?
Any pass from a qb standing in his end zone to his teammate who is also in the end zone is a bad idea. And if they ran twice for no gain and passed incomplete on 3rd down, Frost would have been bagged on for going into a shell. Your saying they missed their blocks? I missed the playStoll and Rafdal crapped the bed big time on that play.

This. At first I hated the call. But had the perimeter been blocked properly Maurice had a chance to take it to the house. It was an aggressive call that was executed poorly. Could have easily went 99 yards too.
It was a good call when it worked against CU, a bad call when it didn’t against NIU. Why didn’t he always just call the plays that work? Right?
hopefully we don't try it against ohio state. that would be like giving them 6 points with a bow on itTerrible call at anytime in that situation.

And that is why the play was called. Doctor Mo can make a house call at any time. But had the perimeter been blocked properly Maurice had a chance to take it to the house.
I'm not sure football works that way.Best 2 points ever spent imo. So what if it didn't work against NIU? Now its on tape, and every opponent from here on out knows that Frost might not play it safe on the goal line, and will make DC's have to play sideline to sideline, and think twice about sending the blitz.
Some will ***** and moan either way unless it’s a gain...
