2006 was the only year since seeding started without a number 1 seed in the final four. As far as I can find there’s never been an elite eight round without at least one number one seed.

I hate losing the $ for TU, but Houston losing at anything is good.

This guy missed the key question: when was the last time no number 1 seeds made the Elite 8?
The answer: never! This is the first time this has happened in the NCAA tournament!
Konkol runs a lot of the same sets and defenses. He was an assistant for him for years. He needs the same kind of athletes !!!
Agreed. There are plenty of examples of defense we should emulate. There was great D on display in that SDSU Bama game.
Texas is elite on the defensive end. If they’re hitting shots they can beat anybody.
Assuming Texas holds on….BigEast and Big12 with half of the elite 8.
