Its 11. Arkansas, as many open shots as they missed, and as bad as their D was, should be happy its not worse

Zona has to like being up 11, but they wasted some opportunities to put this thing at 17, 18, maybe 20

Acuff's decision making is exquisite. If you back off he shoots, if you don't he finds an open man. In a split second.
Definitely miss having guards like him. That’s the thing with Cal, his talent could get him through eventually. Probably not tonight because Zona looks championship worthy to me and has all year, but he has enough usually that could do it. Better than watching Pope teams. Still time for him to go but he was the better answer if we all knew how the search would go.

The talent is undeniable. Thing I like about Acuff is he just balls. Never to high. Never to low. He's gonna need to be more assertive though.

Jorts was more talented than we realize. Played a few seasons for the Knicks and really didn’t look bad.

A friend years ago showed me a video of him dunking between his legs back in Juco. I think it was just a motivation thing with him. Once Cal and KP figured out what buttons to press with him he took off. More than held his own agaisnt a top 5 pick in that S16 game. Jorts is better than anyone arkansas has in their front court. And so was Terrence Jones.

Seriously i’m more impressed by how unafraid of contact and physical play freshman terrence jones was every year.
You're right, I forgot Jorts' stint w/ the Knicks. Neither Ewin nor Pringle will see the floor in an NBA game IMO. For sure a worse front court than the Knight team.

Even a lesser team can gain confidence if you don't put them away. All it takes is UA misses a couple shots, Arky hit a couple threes in a row to get the lead to 3-4 and all of a sudden UA has some game pressure on'em.

Zona is just too good. Cal has that lost look on his face, but idk if there is an answer. They are just better and they can’t get a stop.

They can’t get a stop. Giving up straight line drives.
