Definitely miss having guards like him. That’s the thing with Cal, his talent could get him through eventually. Probably not tonight because Zona looks championship worthy to me and has all year, but he has enough usually that could do it. Better than watching Pope teams. Jorts was more talented than we realize. Played a few seasons for the Knicks and really didn’t look bad.

A friend years ago showed me a video of him dunking between his legs back in Juco. I think it was just a motivation thing with him. Once Cal and KP figured out what buttons to press with him he took off. More than held his own agaisnt a top 5 pick in that S16 game. Jorts is better than anyone arkansas has in their front court. And so was Terrence Jones.

Seriously i’m more impressed by how unafraid of contact and physical play freshman terrence jones was every year.

You're right, I forgot Jorts' stint w/ the Knicks. Neither Ewin nor Pringle will see the floor in an NBA game IMO. For sure a worse front court than the Knight team.
