The Pitino press killed teams. They turned everyone over and took on all comers. Worked then and would work now.

You are absolutely right! It wore the other teams out. Kentucky’s team were in great physical shape and the press had the opponents bent over holding the bottom of their shorts in the final 8 minutes of the game.
