If you make it up or.down this way, jest remember to take.in the sights and sounds way back in them thar woods.
Bone Valley is a good spot to camp and fish..Thanks for the info. I definitely will need to make the trip. Being trout fishing all my life. But I never adventure over in that area.
My way is very unconventional, but also makes it easy in big water. In a sense, I’m not really casting across the whole river all the time. I promise, early spring and summer evenings are electric on the Nanty!Lived here my whole life and never wet a hook in Nantahala. Grew up fishing Tellico and occasionally Snowbird.
I'm like you, I prefer smaller creeks. I've never done a whole lot of big water fishing.
Got dem bubblesIf you want to fish the Nantahala, hit me up! I’ll show you how to fish it and cook you a nice meal as well! Best trout stream around in my book!
Head over to Dicks Creek on Junaluska Road. Plenty of spots to park on the side of the road down through there. I like it more than the Nantahala as well, but I also don't own a fly rod over 7'. My friends say my version of fishing requires bushwhacking.Lived here my whole life and never wet a hook in Nantahala. Grew up fishing Tellico and occasionally Snowbird.

The fishing isn't good in Bone Valley anymore ...Bone Valley is a good spot to camp and fish..
Good. I've never used one.For the record, I don’t use a fly rod on the Nanty.
Tried it once, hated it. Was in the trees way more than in the water Might be pretty fun in big open water.Good. I've never used one.
I hear that. I try to play as much as I can.I’ve used a fly rod all my life. Been everywhere from Hazel creek to Wilson Creek to Montana to even a creek in the green teams county. Another rod made of metal and a ball have interfered the past few years.
Learned how to tie flies from my high school English teacher. Mitchell’s basketball court is named after him. Now he’s a true legend.I use fly rod some but not much. And can even tie homemade flies. But I’m not what you say a professional at it by no means. One of my favorite would probably be homemade wasp I made years ago.. But for most I use other type of rods.

Best kind of fishing there is.Speaking of fishing small streams. I remember fishing one back years ago probably not 20 inches wide in some places and little wider in other places. . Catching wild Brook trout between 6-10 inches long. Lot of fun to catch.
