I want action, not words. Sounds like a politician. Just believe he's trying to win some fans back after a disastrous season.. He should be embarrassed by JJ performance for ucla in tourney.
Exactly he is saying only what he knows some need to hear in preparation for next year hoping it will take some of the pressure off.

That seat is hot!

Why post this nonsense ? Worst season in history , then. , wait ... Swaggy guy is now back ... I'm sure teams are petrified .
It's like some old fighters who have retired and then miss the fight scene, get back in to shape then, talk trash about how they are back only to get beat down in the first couple of rounds. The pressure will be on him to win big next year. Not 20 wins with 12-14 losses. Not good enough.

I try to be fair to cal but he makes it hard sometimes. Now is the time for building the perfect available roster, evaluating staff And re thinking offense...not the time for stirring the pot.

Let’s go in under the radar and then Let our play speak for itself.

I want the nasty/ruthless Cal back. The guy who hired killers to recruit, things stayed quiet, and then they loaded up with big guns. Didn't care who was offended, didn't say anything to other programs, just was catching all the hate because he was doing things that pissed other programs, media, and fans off. Because they were succeeding and to me at UK success is Final Four/National Championships.

That Cal has been gone since '15 loss. Now he's an enabler who has a staff of can't finish the deal but promise they'll get it done next time....and it's stale.

If Cal wants to be the man again-have a Big Blue Madness event where the fans can watch them burn those checkerboard jerseys as they represent the "stale" Cal era, go get some killers who will finish the deal and get elite players as well. As much as I love addition of Grady, the Cal I loved said "Talent over Experience" and he was proven right--thing is you have to get ELITE TALENT--not nice kids who are nice and "great kids"--you need Great kids who are monsters during games and want to kick your ***. So it should be Grady coming in WITH Jaden Hardy if you have the Cal that was hired, not hoping for an all Creighton backcourt or Marcus Carr's one man show that has gotten 2 coaches fired already to be the future of UK basketball. That reflects more on where things have changed, then a sign of greatness to come IMO.

That's the Cal I want. Not Swaggy Cal. Not Life Coach Cal. I want the Cal who took the damn job and backed everything up. Minute that guy shows up, certain people affiliated with program will be seeking employment and top level players will be coming to Lexington again.

Fans matter, let them stop watching and going to games. Add boosters and the hot seat is shared by mitch.
I’ve just seen a bunch of yapping chihuahuas quitting on KY. Attendance is expected to drop. It is across the country. I’ve not seen or heard boosters in apoplexy. So your so called hot seat is just a figment of imagination.

- Since this "Swaggy" Cal Quote...we've saw Hunter Sallis and Trevor Keels go to Gonzaga and Duke respectively. We are also seeing UK non existent for Jalen Hardy as well who is another 5* guard we really need.

This macho man quote mongering by some fans is sort of like tennagers who act like their beatbox/rap slurs is what defines them as cool or not cool. Let's see how this plays out on the court next year. I think we'll be better next year but even if we become the transfer school vs. 1 and done school...fine. But I don't see a team that will live up to Cal's words next year. Quotes are fine to make but I think we'd be better served to lock up Brooks to come back, Mintz to come back, etc...to truly make actions not words.

This should tell anyone thinking Cal will change that it’s not going to happen. All he does is run his mouth and doesn’t back it up. He will never change!
Him making a statement like this after the worst season in 100 years tells you how arrogant and lost he really is!

Explain how Trump is bad? Best economy ever before Covid. Unemployment rate lowest ever. Black unemployment lowest it’s ever been.

But the baby killing, letting men in little girls bathrooms, raising taxes tremendously is the answer. Got it
You’re exactly right!
