Wilson Prep decided not to honor a home and home agreement with SWE and has dropped us from their schedule. This is after we played at their place last season and gave them the last loss they've had. The problem is, our AD told me that the home and home agreement was a handshake and not a contract. Even without a contract, an honorable program would still hold up their end after the other team held up theirs. There wasn't even any communication. Per our AD, we had our schedule ready to be released, and shortly thereafter, was told that we better take a look at Wilson Prep's....no SWE. So now we only have 9 games scheduled, which includes a missing home gate. We've been looking to fill that weekly 6 vacancy in Charlotte and even Virginia. But it's almost certainly too late to find a team willing to throw something unplanned into their season like that. And if they did, they most certainly won't travel to do it. Is there anybody reading this that has a week 6 BYE?
