Surry survives and wins the Region 1A Championship, 50-45 over Rappahannock. Hard fought game by both teams. They could potentially meet again in the state semifinals.

Proud of rappahannock the way they fought back and played well against surry my thoughts no disrespect to carver or riverheads but I really think there going to meet again for a shot at the ship

Rappahannock had their chances. The foul on the halfcourt shot just before the half was huge, plus the goaltending that wasn't called and the subsequent technical foul. Rappahannock also missed a bunch of free throws as well. Kudos to them for a great game. I'll admit that I didn't think it would be close. I'm glad they proved me wrong.

Rapp had its chances but had a few bad TOs and missed FTs. That missed goaltend was huge tho. Unexcuseable then combined with a tech was uncalled for.
