The Biden administration has taken the first step towards packing the U.S. Supreme Court with more radical justices.

“President Biden will issue an executive order Friday to form a commission to study reforms to the United States Supreme Court,” sources reported.

“The 36-member commission will be bipartisan and will hold public meetings to evaluate court reforms, the report continued. “The new panel will have 180 days from the first meeting to complete its report of recommendations.”

Bipartisan means 33 dems Romney, Murkowski and Collins.

It’s only going to get worse.
I said back in November when drop out Joe won that it would be like any other administration, good & bad unless he tried to change the courts ( add supreme court justice) then things will go to hell very rapidly.....hopefully something stops this nonsense

I don’t believe anyone is foolish enough to increase the number of justices. They know everytime The President and the majority in the senate are politically aligned, it will increase again, and again, and again.

I just don’t see it.

I think it is partisan paranoia. Remember Trump was going to get us into a nuclear war if you listened to the partisan nut jobs. Yeah the democrats are playing dirty right now but they aren’t stupid. They know the consequences of such a decision. They are pandering to their idiots in their base

I absolutely believe it. Not because anything you said is wrong but they will do it because it is the only chance for a generation the left has at controlling the judicial branch.

You can think that until Heather gets gifted a director position somewhere in the administration. He said he wouldn’t support stimulus bill as well. Gayle got a new government job, and Manchin changed his mind and supported it.

Nothing special for WV from the stimulus bill and no leadership or action by Gayle, despite her being federal co-chair for the ARC. ARC was founded when JFK did his visit to WV, yet WV gets the least support out of the multiple states involved.

Manchin can’t even use his power correctly to get pork projects like Murkowski and others do for their states and get . He strictly only cares about his/family own personal financial benefit from this power he supposedly holds.

In a meeting last week we discussed that some with him. He was pleased that apparently counties and cities are directly getting relief funding from the Feds, with it not going through state houses first.

It was a zoom meeting with industry associates, and while some were in a conference room some were on zoom like me. Before Joe showed up we were discussing the new "infrastructure" plan, and I offered the opinion that what matters more than anything right now is his stance on the filibuster. I started calling him out on his flip flop on the Covid Stimulus vote, and while I was he and his group walked into the room. I got a "cut the mic" motion from one of the other attendants in the room, but I know he had to of heard me.

He acted like he wasn't fully aware of what's in this disaster of an infrastructure bill, but admitted that communication in DC has broken down and the partisanship is out of control. Chuck's not talking with Mitch. Joe's getting pressure from Chuck and other Dems to support HR 1 and easing the filibuster rule. He swears he's not in favor of getting rid of the filibuster, and claims he would see zero reason to allow DC and PR to become states, as they offer no strategic benefit to becoming states (unlike Alaska and Hawaii did).
