Has anyone heard the new sports talk radio show? These guys spend their entire morning bashing Mississippi State. They also were taking shots at the sixpack the other day.

They talked about the six pack yesterday. I want to say they were making fun of posters getting upset about the Greg Byrne picking the new court design for the Hump and it not being the design voted on by six pack voters. Then I want to say they went on to make fun of the topics people post. Today they ripped MSU about its numerous Logo designs and why we don't have one standard logo. I only get to listen to this new show on my way to work. Both times I have listened, it was non-stop MSU bashing or six pack bashing and not a lick of sports mentioned.</p>

their ratings will be terrible. I would imagine that the vast majority of listeners don't care what a few hundred people are talking about on a message board.

They make chuck and Doug look like Mike and Mike. I've listened to them before and the show is horrible. The Jackson market has gone through countless shows and hosts in the past ten years or so. Thy won't be on too long before a national show is picked up. Bounds on 105.9 has a very good show and he covers college sports. He also has good interviews. He gets people on there that no one else would ever think of. Tubberville was on last week for example.

That Kevin Broughton guy is just not meant for radio. It'd be like me doing a radio show. You knew there would be a dropoff between OOB and whatever took its place, but this is just bad. It won't last long.

Ben Ingrim is (IMO) by far does the best in sports radio in the Jackson area.

If Bo Bounds would tone down the wine and cheese "lifestyle," quit name dropping and stop trying so show how smart he is, he would be better. Overall he has the potential to be very good.

Jay White teamed with the right partner (the had a great afternoon show a few years back) could make a go of it. One thing I like about the morning vent is they don't bow down to political correctness. Face it, the next five months are going to be a love fest of UM football.

I think his name was Travis. He went to work for ESPN. They were a good tandem.

I know he played for yall back in the late '90s. He puts on a pretty good show and stays evenly between the lines without sounding like a complete homer.

He does a pretty good job. Seems like he touches on subjects and opinions that have been brought up on Six Pack on a regular basis.

He was the color guy for a mostly-local TV brodcast of MSU-tulane once or twice. I thought he was very good at it - way better than what JP/LF/Raycom ever put out there. I think he could have a future in that if he wanted, and b) he gets noticed.
