They way they had been playing, I thought Arizona had a decent chance to make the Final Four. Nothing would make me happier than to be wrong about that.

Marshall vs Wichita state has been one of the best games I’ve watched all season. High level play from both sides. Hate to call it a heavy weight slug fest but if you ignore the names on the jerseys it feels like one

I’m glad the Horns lost. For one thing, they’re Texas. Also, the guy with the hair band and man-boobs was among the most annoying players in the tourney.

Foster looked like he was way too jacked up to have a big game against his old team. He really crapped the bed today.
Creighton is stuck in some sort of basketball purgatory.. Good enough to finish in the top half of a power conference not good enough to win the conference and only good enough to get a 7-10 seed. They haven't played a good opening round game since they beat Florida

The Jays' role players held their own today, but Foster was absolutely awful and Thomas never seemed to touch the ball.

Well today they were, because their star player was horrible. I get that K-State put the clamps on Foster, but he was just brutal. The guys like Ballock, Hegner, Mintz, etc., did okay but they are completely overmatched when Foster doesn't show up.
Yeah and if you remember their opening game was very ugly and the Baylor game was a disaster
Foster was obviously freaked out facing his old coach. I'd take Creighton over those two normally. It's a good win for Weber playing shorthanded.
I just roared with laughter. U of Maryland-Baltimore County went up 14 on Virginia. Jim Nantz points out that UMBC had never defeated an ACC team. And in fact has only beaten one Power 5 team in their history. That was...you guessed it...Nebraska a few years ago.
