It will be interesting to track them next year. How many remain at their universities and how do their teams fare in year two? Is it worth recruiting super freshmen for what they give you as super sophomores?

I don't understand the argument. Those players are the best players on those teams for the most part. They aren't out because of the fresham. If anything they made it because of them.


Give me super fresham all day long. Just because Cal is a bad x and I coach doesn't mean you don't want freshman.

Maybe the argument is going over my head

Burries and Peat will lead their team to the championship game against a team of high priced portal players in Michigan. But the key is both teams have players and more importantly both teams have coaching. Did anyone notice how well Arizona passed the ball and handled the ball ...something we desperately missed this year.

Smith is a 2 time All American and will start over Tyler Tanner. Attack him all day, I have shot blockers. Meanwhile, he will break down any of your guards like a shotgun

I thought about starting Bennett Stirtz or Thornton at the 2 but that "Purdue PG" is a one man press break, and the best passer in the game so Haugh gets the start since he lives around the 3 line, can drive, and can defend the perimeter. I'm sure you can drive it on Smith, but I have shot blockers for days. And your little freshmen boys are gonna get eaten alive on the other end

Only position I feel iffy at is center. There's no DeMarcus cousins down low this year. Even tho I've never heard of ike Graham. I'm sure I've seen him play but he wasn't good enough to remember apparently

All seriousness though, your team has more draft capital, in a college basketball game, I think my guys eat them up

Arizona scored 109 points, while only taking 8 three-pointers. That's impressive basketball !!

He is Gonzaga's center. Averaged 19.9 ppg 9.6 rpg 61% fg 80% ft. He lit the Cat's up for 28 pts and 10 rebs this year and 28 pts 11 rebs last year.

Peterson - his IN & OUT back & forth could not have been good for team chemistry
Dybantsa - lost the 2nd best player on the team just a few weeks ago, 1 guy can only do so much
Boozer - TBD
Wilson - he broke his hand & didn't play (DUH!)
Acuff - yes out, to a team that also has 2 SUPER Freshman, 1 of the 2 teams had to lose
Flemings - yes out
Wagler - TBD
Ament - TBD

So you failed to prove your point.

Even more crazy ..I went to the Gonazaga game in Nashville. And for any fan that was at that game....I think we will all naturally not cut Pope any slack lol. Seriously that game was bad to witness live.


I've never seen 20,000 fans wanting to go crazy but can't even make a sound because we didn't make a bucket for more than five minutes into the game. Scarred me for life lol.

Zona's 2 best players are freshmen, not just Peat. In fact, Burries is the higher projected NBA prospect. But yes, they have talented portal players around them,.

I don't know man, I can't remember a year when so many freshmen have played at such a high level in March, across a NUMBER of teams. This was a heck of a class.
