OK, who ya got for the big game? Me? This is a real tough one because I really like both QBs. But, in the end I have to go with the Rams. I just think they bring too much to the table on both sides of the ball for the Bengals to handle. That Cincy O-Line also has me concerned. But, at the same time I don't think I'll be shocked if Cincinnati wins. I picked them to lose their last two playoff games and here they are in the SB. Goes to show you what I know. 😂

My ultimate hope, as in every SB game is that is is a good game above all else.

You nailed it - the line of scrimmage. When you look at basically every aspect of the game the biggest weakness for the Bengals shows up on the line. With that said, I think they have too many weapons to cover all of them. Burrow is next level and Stafford will make that one big mistake that leaves everyone wondering what he was thinking.

I like Cincy by a FG 23-20

Newt - I'm with you ... Bengals by just a few points.

I have no rooting interest in either team. I would love for underdog to win, but I think Rams easily cover the 4 pts and win big.

So this is a really tough one for me as well. I like both QBs and the fact that Stafford has a chance to win a SB is a good story. He spent a lot of years in Detroit and really he was the team. The fact he doesn’t have as much time left to win a SB makes me want to root for him. I also like Burrow and how he goes about his business and in only his 2nd year. The fact the Bengals have never won the SB and they are the underdogs makes me want to root for Cincinnati. So I am rooting for the Bengals. Who do I think will win? The Rams! To much offense and to much defense on the Rams! That all said Burrow is a winner and Burrow found a way to beat KC and no one thought that would happen. I to hope it’s a good game and that’s the most important thing for me. 👍

Rams will win the Cooper Cup. They have too much talent on both sides of the ball.

I will be rooting for Burrow and the Bengals. I don't think this team will be the best Bengals team over the next few years.

I have to root for Rams. Offensive line coach Kevin Carberry is a 2001 St. Rita graduate. Other than that I have no dog in this game. I just hope for a close game.

I'll be pulling for the Rams for one reason - Andrew Whitworth. 40 years old and still hammering in the trenches. His longevity is more remarkable than Tom Brady's.
Rams 31
Bengals 20

Seems to me that when you look at both teams you have to favor the Rams to win.
With that said, after watching Stafford for all those years on the Lions, I fully expect the tragic error in the last couple of minutes, that costs the Rams the game.

The Hawk used to say "it's not who you play, it's when you play them". The Bengals are on a roll. Besides, I can't root for a team from LA.

I’m sorry but their no comparison. Really Whitworth and Brady? He isn’t even in the same hemisphere. Who is Whitworth? He maybe a good lineman but really. I hope you are kidding.

I'm talking longevity and durability in a career. To make it 16 years as an offensive lineman is truly a remarkable achievement

Although I agree with you anyone playing in the NFL 16 years is a major accomplishment. Tom Brady played 20 years at QB and the GOAT IMO that’s a bigger accomplishment.

True OL is a battle in the trenches for 16 years. Average life span of a NFL player is I believe 6 years.

Nolan Ryan was 44 years old when he pitched his 7th no hitter.

The older Ryan also showed us at his age what he would do if anyone tried to sack him on the mound. Just ask Robin Ventura.

Man, tough call. Burrow has his S together for such a young QB. Stafford is a tough SOB who finally gets his shot after enduring a sentence in Detroit. I have no vested interest and would be happy with either team. I’m pulling a little more for Cincy since it’s been so long.

Nobody is stopping Cooper Kupp. Rams have a good pass rush to counter Burrow and the Ram defense all they have to do is prevent big plays on defense and they win the game.

Refs let them play for all but 2 minutes. Oh well. Congrats Stafford on getting it done.

Good game I was rooting for Cincinnati but ok with the Rams and Donald and Stafford getting a SB win. They deserve it Burrow will have more opportunities. I think the Bengals showed they can play defense.

Yeah Corey, it was a good game. Especially till the refs got involved late. But in looking at the two teams playing, two things hit me. First, it showed just how far the Bears are from that level of play. Second, I don't see either team going back to the SB any time real soon.

We have to remember, these were two teams that were the 4th seed in each conference, although the Rams did win 12 regular season games. I do think the Rams will get back before the Bengals do depending on a few things.

First, is Aaron Donald going to retire or not? He has talked about it and if he does it will really hurt their defense and Floyd will be nowhere near as effective as he is now. The Rams didn't run the ball well although the OL was solid. Beckham is done with LA and maybe for good depending on how the knee is.

The Rams were in a very good division. I don't think AZ will be worse next year. SF might be, however. And SEA will be better. Their road back is not going to be as hard as CIN's road will be. But we all know how hard it is to get back to the SB right away. Makes a person appreciate what Brady did.

For the Bengals, Burrow will be going up against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens twice a year, possibly, for years. The Browns will be better next year and even though PIT will be going through a rebuild, Mike Tomlin will keep that team competitive. Outside their division, they still have the Bills, Chiefs, Chargers, Patriots and Titans to contend with at playoff time among other teams that may improve.

AND if CIN does not improve that OL, Burrow may likely be out of the league in 3 or 4 years due to injury. They can't keep letting him get hit and expect anything else.

Both teams played well enough to get there, but I don't think either team was the best in their conference. But an argument can be made, somewhat, for LA.

I agree. If Cincinnati can improve their OL and add a couple weapons for Burrow I can see them back but your right it won’t be easy. The Rams are done. This was their swan song I don’t see them back for awhile.
