Wife is not feeling well. This is normal. I had a friend stop by for the first half, but had to leave as he arrived. His wife got off work early and her car was in the shop. Rooting for the Patriots to lose. Drinking some Hofbrau Original.

Count me as praying for your wife and her wellness. I too love it when the Pats lose! I have Zipline keeping me company now;)

no party here, my girls went to bed after justin timberlake.
Philly td catch was a lucky call.
No fun beer here tonight, just a couple ultras.
Hope your wife gets to feeling better boxes.
no question on the NE td...

It's looking more like a game where New England just isn't going to pull out. Every time they get some momentum, Philly takes it away from them.

One minute to go, down 8 and Brady gets the ball back..

That was a helluva game, but as I said earlier, Philly kept taking any momentum NE had away. That reverse on the kick return for NE was stupid.

Burkhead looked good.
Didn't watch much NFL this year...it was STRIKING how lax the enforcement of pre-snap rules have become. Saw a lot of illegal shifts, forward motions, and plain old false starts for both teams not called. It's almost like the NFL version of traveling in the NBA I guess. Just bugged me.

Michaels and Collinsworth are like they are at a funeral.
Normally I like that duo, but good grief, the New England and more specifically Tom Brady love, was nearly unbearable. If you did a drinking game where you took a shot everytime Collinsworth spouted praise for Brady, you would have been dead from alcohol poisoning by the second quarter, and it never let up.

Agreed. It is interesting how they managed to throw a few false starts on Philly at inconvenient moments.

That was a great game to watch. I actually had the chance to drink at the Hofbrau Haus in Munich a few years ago while at Oktoberfest. I encourage anyone to go there and do it themselves. It was probably the coolest trip I have ever taken. The parts I remember.

Why did they spend so much time on that review? The guy took 3 steps after he caught the ball. It was a TD the moment he broke the plane.
Because they overturned a Steelers TD that was very similar to that just a couple of weeks ago. Steeler fans are losing their minds right now.

Yes-the Original HH in Muchen/Munich is very cool
Great beer, excellent food and long communal tables and music- fun times

They have opened several locations in the US
In Cincinnatti- area- the entrertainment district across the river overlooking Cincy- in Kentucky. Lots more modern, lots of wood, above average food, the big steins, outdoor beer garden etc- definitely worth the trip

Panama City FL- smaller version of Cincy. Tucked off the main HWY. Less festive- average food, but worth the stop

Las Vegas- been to LV- but not since they built the HH-

I was there in 09 and it was pouring rain outside...very very warm and stuffy inside...kinda ruined it
