The game stats are very close except for penalties. Looking at the numbers does not indicate a 31-9 score.
TB forced FGās, Chiefs had a goal line stand. I would argue 38-9 is a better representation of this game even as a Chiefs fan.
A lot of KCās yardage came in garbage time after the outcome was no longer in doubt.

Give me a break. Football is a team sport. Brady is a great player, one of the greatest, but was he the difference in this game. Not freaking close. TB defense shut down KC. They won this game, not Brady. Did he do his part? Yes, but he was a role player, nothing more. Mahomes was running for his life the entire game. Can you imagine if Brady was under that kind of pressure? He'd break like the fragile statue that he is.

That hit Mahomes took late in the 4th, where three dudes sacked him, including Suh. Damn! They showed a brief glimpse of his face in the pile, purest expression of pain.

Winston did have 35 turnovers last year. So kind of hard to judge their defense.
