Like whom? Just odd.. they haven’t made the playoffs in over a decade and poof the goat is on team and they win the SB..just a coincidence I suppose
I know that you're soft in the head, but I thought at the very least you understood football. It's a team sport. Brady does not play defense. TB defense was dominant. They shut down KC all night long. In fact, their D was terrific throughout the playoffs. You can appreciate Brady's play without slobbering all over his jock. He played well tonight. Did he win single handedly win the SB? The answer is no. If he comes back another year I'll give him 50-50 that he breaks a hip.

Not judging.. just saying they couldn’t make the playoffs . Now the have Tom and poof..super bowl champs.
Obviously he is a significant reason for their turnaround this year. But it's hardly, Tom Brady and poof. That's a gross oversimplification.

Are you the guy who fights other parents at Little league games? Seriously what is your beef with Mahomes? The kid is ultra talented and pretty down to earth for being a gazillionaire MVP under the age of 25.
I have no beef with mahomes. I just don’t think he’s the messiah kc fans make him out to be. Beats teams he's favored to beat.

The rodgers comps are accurate imo. Nothing wrong w that.

Chiefs only protected with 5 on 48/52 drop backs against a top 5 D in sacks with 2 missing tackles and a missing LG from the original depth chart, special level of bad game planning.

I thought Devin White (#45) was Tampa's MVP on defense. He had a great game -- 8 tackles and a pick.

He’s been pressured on over 60% of his drops, he hit 2 WR’s in the hands in the end zone while running for his life. This has been the worst OL play I’ve seen in a big game in a long time.
They were basically playing a third string center. I had a hunch that they could have trouble tonight with the Buc's defense. You have to have some dudes up front to win a Super Bowl and the Chiefs were a couple of men down on their O line. Yeah I thought the Bucs got a couple of weak calls maybe in that first half but the story of the game was no turnovers by Brady and the struggles of the Chief's O line.

Name one quarterback you would rather have as a long-term franchise player. 10 years.

It's not just KC fans...it's pretty much everyone. He is the real deal who didn't have a great night. He'll be back.

He still made some throws that were jaw dropping. There were a a few that should have been caught. Mahomes is the real deal, but KC is going to have to get better on D at some point.

D wasn't their problem last night...if the stat I heard was accurate, the one that said Mahomes ran around for 500 yards total last night, that ain't on the D. Get the O-line healthy, then you sustain drives and keep the D off the field.

I had to chuckle at the “Beats teams he’s favored to beat” line. The Chiefs have been favored in pretty much every game Mahomes has started the past 2 seasons (and farther back than that). The problem is NOT winning games they’re favored in...like yesterday.

Of course, something must be said about why the Chiefs are favored to win pretty much every game Mahomes starts. Maybe there is a connection.

The Chiefs were outplayed by a wide margin yesterday. A lot of QB’s not named Brady would have won the game the way TB’s D played. The Chiefs made it even harder still with the penalties and poor strategy at the end of the first half. If they don’t have a holding penalty on Mathieu’s INT; and let TB run out the clock in the first half, they would have been 14 points closer in the 2nd half. They could have kicked FG’s instead of trying for desperation 4th down plays in the 4th quarter, and maybe it’s a one possession game late.

BTW, Anyone see who the early favorite is to win next years Super Bowl?

They need some help at linebacker. Maybe move Jones out to defensive end and get more run support. The secondary is young and very talented.

They desperately need help at offensive line. Veach and Reid think they can roll out a bunch of scrubs that they picked up off the free agent wire and have a first rate unit. You need to draft OLine regularly. They also need a true second receiver. You can't count on Seven Game Sammy and Hardman is just a gadget player. Fast, but not smart and zero ability to improvise. I'm not sure he knows the playbook after 2 years. I'd love to see them pick up another talented tight end too.

in 8 super bowl quarters, mahomes has played well in 1 of them.

Chiefs just found their second receiver and signed in to the practice squad.

D was part of their problem. They didn't have a great pass rush and Bucs ran the ball pretty damn well on the Chefs. Their Goal Line stand was great, but they did struggle on D.
